Cove Lake Campground Reviews
One of our favorite camping spots. There is easy access to fishing and swimming. Bath houses are available and the food they cook is incredible!
Jun 06, 2025 · Samantha AdamsRun down, dirty and gross. The hostess disappeared, locked the flush toilets/shower house and didn't post when anyone could access them. The posted time were 6am to 10pm. Then the hostess lied, one lie after another. She said that it was posted at the gate house that the showers were only open on the weekends. We checked, nothing like that posted anywhere. Also she refused fill the tiolet paper in the outhouse. She seems to think that 1/3 of a roll should last a whole loop a week. The hostess was nightmare and made camping there intolerable. She wouldn't take care of the most basic services. Skip this place, we wish we did.
May 16, 2024 · Marianne SSimply beautiful and exactly what we needed. It was super quiet and peaceful. This is probably because there is no electricity, but this is precisely why we loved it. It was the greatest experience to have an opportunity to completely unplug and enjoy all the Cove Lake had to offer. We went swimming in the swimming area. Walked to lake. Enjoyed the fun game areas. Our friend caught a 6lb catfish. We enjoyed playing games. Cove Lake was breathtakingly beautiful. The campsites themselves were well kept and clean. Also, the breakfast at the concession stand on the weekend was delicious both days. They are under new ownership. They are renewing a little at a time, as they go. It is definitely more than worth the cost of the stay. We hope to be back this fall to see the leaves. ❤️❤️❤️
Sep 02, 2024 · Miss LLoved it. Quiet with very view campers. Right at cove. We pulled our inflatable boat right up to edge of site. Lots if birds and great sunsets.
Apr 14, 2019 · Pat ElliottNice big campsites with lake views. Tent pad was nice and flat. This is a well maintained campground overall. We plan to return.Only complaint was that they did not enforce the quiet hours. There was noise from neighboring campsites until after midnight (someone was watching any action movie at full volume!? Why do they even go camping? Anyway, that's another discussion).
