Cisco Beach Campground Introduce
For Utahns seeking a quintessential outdoor experience, Cisco Beach Campground offers a truly special retreat along the shores of the breathtaking Bear Lake. Known affectionately as the "Caribbean of the Rockies" for its stunning turquoise-blue waters, this area provides a tranquil escape from the everyday. Cisco Beach Campground caters to those who appreciate a more rustic, primitive camping style. It’s a place where you can disconnect from the hustle and bustle and truly immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the landscape. While it may not have all the modern conveniences of larger, developed RV parks, its simplicity is precisely what makes it so appealing. It’s an ideal spot for tent campers, and even some RVs, who are self-sufficient and ready for an adventure. The campground is a part of Bear Lake State Park's Eastside, which is known for its quiet, first-come, first-served camping opportunities that are a favorite among local outdoor enthusiasts. Here, the focus is on enjoying the clear lake water, the sun, and the company of family and friends around a crackling campfire.
Cisco Beach Campground is conveniently located on Cisco Beach Rd in Laketown, UT 84038, USA. Situated on the eastern side of Bear Lake, its location provides campers with a different perspective of the lake's beauty compared to the more crowded western shores. Access to the campground is straightforward, typically via Cisco Road, which branches off from Highway 30. This road is generally well-maintained, though conditions can vary. It is important to note that the campground is located within the Bear Lake State Park's Eastside, which includes other primitive camping areas and boat ramps. This means that while you are in a quiet area, you are still part of a larger network of recreational opportunities. Its location is a little further from the main towns on the lake, which adds to its sense of peaceful seclusion. The drive itself is scenic, with views of the mountains and the vast expanse of the lake, building anticipation for your camping trip.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Camped here for two nights. Great campground with easy access to the clear blue waters of Bear lake. Great views, cold lake water. The only downsides I thought of for this campground is there are very few trees for shade. That said there are many campgrounds with built in awnings. Also, the campground is very rocky so driving steaks to full depth can be challenging. Get here early - Thursday at latest if you want your pick of campgrounds rather than leftovers.
July 28 · Justin CrappsWe dry camped in a 30ft RV at Cisco Beach, which was $20 for non residents. Great spot lots of vault toilets, which were clean. Shelters with picnic table and fire rings for each site. We had the place to ourselves. Disappointed with the amount of rubbish in the camp sites and along the beach especially given there were plenty of dumpsters. No dumpstation.
April 22 · Tom AbbottGreat place to catch some rays, camp, and enjoy bear lake. The camp volunteers really try to keep it clean and a nice experience for everyone.
July 08 · Kevin M (Meach)Rocky beaches and camp grounds, don't plan on sleeping on the floor of a tent. No hookup for a camper, but camp sites big enough to park 6-10 of them. Every vehicle they charge extra for, so having friends over is still going to cost them, even though you already paid for the site. At least it's right on the water, even if you can't launch a boat from there.
June 05 · D Wi11yBeautiful campground that is quiet and great sunsets.
