Chinaman Cove Campground Reviews
TONS of camping spots and options of scenery. Open, in the trees, by the lake, plots of concrete ect. Each site set up with a place for a tent. Wheel chair accessable sites/bathrooms.CLEANEST CAMPGROUND BATHROOM I HAVE EVER BEEN IN. Ever cleaner than a lot of gas stations I've been in, too. Didn't smell practically at all, didn't have to hold my breath and get out as soon a humanly possibly. A pleasant bathroom experience.Overall a great, quiet place to stay for the night!
Jun 24, 2025 · Shayna JoCamper sites are a bit close together, but have plenty of room for a camper, canopy, and multiple cars. The water is a very short walk from most sites. My favorite part of this location was walking along the water line past the day use area. Lots more room to explore. Little caves, stacks of rocks, and unpopulated water to skip rocks in.This camp area has no electrical hookups, so you can expect to hear generators running all the time. There is a fresh water pump and vault toilets (but no water hookups for campers).I preferred this campground over Hellgate down the road because they're are actually trees! The whole campground is dog friendly - including the water.
Sep 04, 2022 · LeahSpot 36 is big, though high traffic to the vault restroom, fire pit is a bit far from camper parking, minimal shade, but the best thing is: No Mosquitoes!!
Jul 17, 2023 · Cody AndersonCampsites are nice! Southwestern type feel. We have a 24ft camper, and barely fit. So big campers this may not be the place for you! Plenty of vault restrooms for folks with tents.
Sep 07, 2020 · Matt HollywoodVery nice if you can get site 28,one of the few good sites with a lot of room and shade. 25 would be my second choice. Most of the others are small and sunny. No electricity. Nice pit toilets.
