★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Reserved a campsite online with hopes of a good family vacation with swimming and time at the fun park only to arrive and have no spot for my tent. Then proceed to find 8 ticks on me within an hour, the fun park to be closed, and the pool and hot tub closes for maintenance on a Tuesday when the hours say open 11am-6pm. Horrible experience, will not be staying here again.
July 01 · Tabitha AlexanderEverything about this trip was off. The campsite that we reserved turned out to not even be a campsite at all just a picnic table and a fire ring set next to the ferns and marsh on the side of the gravel road. The fun park wasn’t even open as advertised and the pool was closed for maintenance on tuesdays but was never notified of this for our stay nor is there a sign posted.
July 01 · Caden SchanckWe have been going to Cedar Valley campground for years, this was our last time. Our fire pit was full of trash and there was dog poop on our site upon arrival. Rude campers all around our site. Adults and kids walking through our site. Constant balls being kicked onto our site and under our camper. There was a dog that wasn't being watched on the site next to ours, on a cable that reached our camper door, and it growled and lunged at my senior lab. The office was notified but did nothing to prevent further incidents. We've never had these issues prior and its quite disappointing. It seemed that the campground was full of locals that are friends with the camp host, so nothing was done, and the campers continued to make rude comments and not control their children whatsoever. Don't go to this campground if you plan on having an enjoyable camping experience.
September 02 · Sam PCool little campground with a decent, small amusing park. They even have a roller coaster! mini golf and a pool, with a very big hot tub next to it. All of that stuff closes after Labor day, fyi. The cabins are small but nice and clean. They do not have any type bathroom or running water, not do they have a stove. Mini frodge, microwave and coffee maker are the extent of the amenities. Prices reflect that. Plsued the golf course, which is really nice for the cost. Going back next year.
September 13 · mitch burkholderWhat a great little campground! The staff were super friendly and helpful, the pool and hot tub were clean (and heated!), and the sites were in great shape! A little out of the way for us, but we really enjoyed our stay, and so did the kids.
