Castle Island Camps

441 Castle Island Rd, Belgrade, ME 04917, USA

4.0
You can't get closer to the water than Castle Island camps. Just finished my week on the island. Grew up less than 5 miles from camp. Always thought "who would stay there? Camps are so small". It is a fishing camp, but I don't fish. And my friend and I had the most relaxing vacation. They feed you delicious meals. Housekeeping. Their clientele are devoted repeat customers. Just a super all around experience for those that don't need someone to entertain them. Of course, you probably can't get in. But if you can, and you love water, peace and quiet and feel like you don't want to cook, it's the place to vacation. And you could fish too if that's your thing. Owners super hosts. - Brenda Berger
