May 09, 2020 · Roy SimmonsI and my dogs rolled in to Captain Andy place somewhat later in the evening right before the 4th of July, not surprisingly Andy's place was full and he could not offer Mia site with any hookups, when I told him that I did not need any and that my camper was set up for me and my dogs and because it was getting later in the evening Andy being the southern gentleman that he is, offered to let me park where the boat trailers are generally Park during the day, on top of that, he actually offered to let me and my dogs stay there for free! Simply because he did not have any available spots that had hookups for campers. On top of that, when I asked him where the nearest store was to get some supplies to cook dinner that night he asked me what I needed and then told me not to bother going to the store and actually gave me for free the stuff that I need it to have a wonderful shrimp boil off the tailgate of my camper! No joke Andy is the epitome of true southern hospitality! If you go there and I really recommend that you do, make friends with Andy and ask him for some of his wonderful seafood boil there's nothing quite like it that I have ever found throughout the South the east the Midwest and the West. Quite simply put, on my 4000 mile Odyssey with my dogs while exploring places we have never been I can say hands down Andy place has stuck in my mind more than any other to say the least. Thank you again captain I will see you again you have my word on that! Steve from Colorado in the silver Dog House Dodge diesel.
