★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Overall this campground was great for church youth camp. The hosts were friendly and helpful. However, neither our group or 3 other groups were initially aware that we would be sharing the campground that week until weeks before we were to arrive, but we made it work. We used the site with the kitchen- (electricity, sinks, fridges, oven, etc.) and pavilion. The water slide was fun and was used often. The short, ten minute hike up to altar rock provided a nice view. The bathrooms are flush toilets and the showers are individual stalls with locking doors. We were there in mid July and it was very hot and there were soooo many bugs and spiders. Still a great place for camp!
August 08 · Sharol FlorenceSuch a fun place to stay! Lots of grass. Super shaded. Right by the river. Great facilities.
June 25 · connor drollingerPersonally, I LOVE the idea of a campground that doesn't allow pets!! Can't say how many times I've been camping and somebody's dog kept everyone up barking all night. I also don't see the problem with cleaning up after yourself and keeping the site clean. Excited to go.
April 17 · Tyler JensenGPS will only get you to where you can see the camp from across the river. You need to keep continuing down the road and cross the bridge and then backtrack and find the camp. There are no signs and it was difficult to find. Take a right after crossing the bridge and stay on the high road. The dirt road was not bad, I was able to make it in a sedan. Good luck!
May 26 · Kory GeorgesonWent to inquire about a camping spot on a Saturday and there was no one there except for a man cleaning the restrooms. We tried to ask if we were able to camp here (we would have paid and been respectful and clean) and he wouldn’t even look us in the eye and gruffly said no. Very rude. Will not ever be back. Found a spot for free instead and it was way better. 0/10 would never recommend.
