Belmont itself offers a balance of tranquil rural settings and proximity to essential services, making it a convenient destination for campers.
The description notes that Loop C is "at the end of the cul-de-sac," implying a clearly defined and relatively straightforward access point within the larger campground structure. This specific location within the campground contributes to the feeling of seclusion and privacy, as sites are "not visible from the rest of the campground." While this enhances the natural experience, it also suggests that navigation within the campground to reach Loop C might require following signs or a map upon arrival.

This ease of access ensures that campers can transport their gear and supplies without significant hassle. Although the specific address focuses on the general vicinity, the established nature of a "Loop C" implies a well-known camping area within a larger park or private campground structure that locals would likely recognize or easily find. Its location in Belmont provides a convenient escape for Ohioans looking to embrace a rustic tent camping experience.

- Pit Toilets: Restroom facilities in Loop C consist of pit toilets, which are located across a parking lot from most sites.
- Access to Showers: Showers are available at the beginning of Loop C, presumably near a general store. However, it is noted that this can be a "long walk" from the tent sites, implying they are not immediately adjacent.

It is advised for campers to be self-sufficient with food storage due to "a lot of animal activity at night." - Secluded Tent-Only Sites: A primary highlight is the dedicated tent-only section in Loop C, where "most of the sites are not visible from the rest of the campground." This provides enhanced privacy and a sense of being immersed in nature, away from the more communal areas.
- Natural, Wooded Surroundings: Sites are situated "around the edge of the woods," offering shade, natural beauty, and a rustic camping atmosphere. The presence of a "large hill" in the middle further contributes to the varied and natural landscape.
- Wildlife Observation (with caution): The "lot of animal activity at night" can be a highlight for nature lovers who enjoy experiencing wildlife up close, albeit with the important caveat of proper food storage. "Lots of animal calls throughout the night" adds to the authentic wilderness ambiance.
- "Manageable" Unlevel Sites: While noted that "most of the sites are not level," the review states they are "still manageable if tent is placed properly." This indicates that while they might require a bit more effort, they are not entirely unusable, catering to adaptable campers.
- Site Pre-visualization: The ability to "click on the site to see a picture before booking" is a valuable feature, allowing campers to choose a site that best suits their preferences for flatness, privacy, or proximity to amenities. Site #132 is mentioned with pictures, and #124 is noted as flat at the top of the hill.

C Camp Reviews
This review is for Loop C, Tent only section. $32It is at the end of the caltisak. Most of the sites are not visible from the rest of the campground. The sites go in a half circle around the edge of the woods and in the middle is a large hill. Restroom (pit toilets) is on the other side of the parking lot and showers are at the beginning of loop c by the general store, it'd be a long walk just for a shower....Most of the sites are not level but still manageable if tent is placed properly. The site I reserved in the pictures is #132. I believe 124 is flat the top of the hill but it is furthest from the parking lot. When reserving click on the site to see a picture before booking.I stayed here July 28th and there was a lot of animal activity at night. Put your food in the car or very secure container. Lots of animal calls throughout the night as well.
