My fiancé and I booked a last-minute weekend trip to Brewster River Campground and ended up staying at Lawn Site A since the river sites were already taken — honestly, it was amazing. The site was spacious, peaceful, and had incredible stargazing in the evening. You can hear the river in the background. The campground itself is beautiful, very laid-back, lots of cool artistic touches that show the owners really care. I love how it feels like you're truly integrated in nature rather than on a clearing of land like most other campgrounds. There's a lot to do nearby — we hiked, swam and fished in the river, rode bikes on trails, played disc golf, and found a couple of great food spots close by. It was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. This place is truly special and we’re looking forward to coming back.

Feb 18, 2025 · Pat CumminsI vacationed in Vermont for the first time and booked a tent site at BRC for my stay. I was beyond impressed with the campground itself, the bathrooms were very clean and the free WiFi and hot showers were something I was very appreciative of. Firewood was very reasonably priced, and there are few different options for payment. I had a few conversations with Matt over email before my stay, and he was very quick to answer my questions, and I had the pleasure of meeting him in person during my stay! Very friendly and you can tell they really care about guest experiences. There’s obviously a lot of care and thought that goes into the campground. The surrounding area is beautiful, with lots to explore especially if you like hiking and an abundance of waterfalls. Town is a few minutes drive away with basic groceries, hardware, gas etc. I would definitely recommend booking here for anyone looking to visit the area, whether you’re tent camping for the weekend or decide you want to upgrade to the cabin, there’s options for everyone! Definitely plan on making camping in VT a tradition because of the experience I had here at BRC!
May 07, 2025 · Ollie KyllSmall campground with beautiful campsites (I had one directly on the creek) and the nicest bathhouse Ive ever seen in a campground. Perfect for the type of camping experience I was looking for.
Jun 11, 2025 · Cynthia SchermerhornSuch a beautiful, peaceful campground. We stayed at site 4. Being right on the river was so lovely and made for such a tranquil experience. Smaller campground so it didn’t ever feel crowded. Loved being able to take a short walk through the woods to a waterfall, right from the campground!Clean modern bathrooms, warm showers included (not coin operated, which is a rare find at campgrounds!!!) Dishwashing station with drinkable water outside the bathrooms. Wood is available for $10 a wagon (can pay with cash or Venmo) and is easily accessible 24hrs/day. Matt is available to answer any questions you may have, which was so helpful.Close by to excellent hiking and views. Smugglers Notch is right up the road. Checked out the disc golf courses 4 mins away, which was really cool. Only 30 mins from Stowe and lots of good food spots.Highly recommend - we will be coming back next year!!
