Bloomington East Reviews
This place is great for weekend camping trips. Tent sites or RV spots are nicely spaced out and shaded, they didn't have any water/ sewer sites available or they had some for staff members at the Hickory campground. Dump station available also. The nearby beach was great, with 3 volleyball nets, a playground, life jackets available, and a cold shower for sand removal.
May 15, 2024 · Alina S.A.Stayed: 9/19/2024 to 9/22/2024“Bloomington East”Campsites are mostly all gravel. Fit the trailer fine level from side to side. Appear to be all water and electric. No one was at the gate when we arrived. Nobody was at the gate the next morning. We only saw someone at the gate one time. The restrooms are not desirable. They do have a laundry facility $1.50 there are three brand new machines in there, two washing one drying the other dryer did not work
Feb 21, 2025 · Shelley AlloreWe stayed at Cedar Ridge campground. Sites are mostly level from side to side. Facilities were clean with hot water. It's April but campground was full with plenty of kids playing. Plenty of trees but there are some with limited shade. Most of seemed to be angled nw/se. Be sure to GOLO in case you want to place your door to the east.
Apr 12, 2025 · Romd inKsNice spread out campsites. They seem level and every site has a fire ring and picnic table and a gravel driveway. Byot (bring your own toilet paper) and soap because the camp staff have not cleaned the restrooms or refilled the tp or soap all weekend. It is packed here too. The beach is crowded and loud music. It is more like a club than a peaceful swimming area.
Jun 23, 2024 · Rachael IHad a wonderful memorial day weekend camping experience here! The raccoons tried to steal our griddle one night but we brought it in the second night as a result. We will be back!
