Big Sur Campground and Cabins Reviews
10/10 best campsite ever! I'm still missing the showers! The site is clean and family safe. The staff is so helpful and kind. All the things they include are so thoughtful and kind. From free ice, 1 bundle of firewood, 2 cups with logo and tubing for everyone to enjoy. I have never stayed in a site like this and I have gone camping for at least 10 years. Such a family safe place to enjoy kids being kids.
Jul 06, 2025 · Home DuranMy family of 5, plus our pup, backed our 37’ RV into space 88. We stayed 3 nites and had a great stay. This is by far the cleanest and well kept campground we’ve ever been to. Restrooms and showers were spotless and cleaned regularly. The roads were watered down daily to keep the dust to a minimum. The sites were close together but you didn’t feel like you were on top of each other because the trees were a barrier. River access was easy with many places to sit. Use of their tubes was a plus, as was free coffee, hot cocoa, ice & one day of firewood. The staff was also very friendly. Good to know - there is ZERO cell service but they have wifi for purchase.
Jun 26, 2025 · LewisWe were lucky enough to snag their last campsite as walk-in’s in June. The campsite is on the pricey end as far as campgrounds go but it came with a bundle of firewood, coffee and tea, unlimited ice, and 2 mugs. Beautiful location, all the sites are super close to the river where you can swim or use the campgrounds tubes to float. Sites are close together but there’s still some privacy. The basketball court was always filled with kids and the bathrooms were very clean.
Jun 08, 2025 · Adelaide WalkerService, safety, and cleanliness are atrocious which is unfortunate as this area is beautiful.Disgusting communal bathrooms. Rude and lazy staff(with the exception of a couple). Loud at night with headlamps, headlights, and flashlights keeping you up at night. Quiet time not enforced. Confident that the 5 star reviews are bots or management. Also I’m sure they have the ability to erase negative reviews. Exorbitant charge for spotty WiFi in a small designated area. Dark and unsafe for small children on grounds. Many superior campgrounds and cabins nearby.
May 26, 2025 · Bobby DStaying at the A-frame cabin at Big Sur Campground was an absolutely unforgettable experience! Nestled among towering redwoods, the cabin offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. It’s well-equipped with three sleeping place, two cozy lofts, a fireplace, and a fully stocked kitchen. They provide toiletries, towels, wooden blankets, and everything else you need for a relaxing getaway. The attention to detail is incredible—crisply clean linens, comfortable pillows and blankets, and even candles in glass jars for a warm, cozy touch. The reservation includes unlimited ice, a bundle of firewood, swimming tubes for river floating, and two beautifully branded tea cups as a souvenir. Plus, the outdoor setup is just as inviting, with a fire hoop, deck chairs, and plenty of space to enjoy the natural surroundings. If you’re looking for an unforgettable escape in Big Sur, this place is an absolute gem. Highly recommend!
