Big Guys Campground, being a growing and customer-focused establishment, is likely to offer various promotions or special rates to attract and retain campers. While specific details can fluctuate, here's what New Yorkers might find or should inquire about:
- Seasonal Rates: The campground has a significant number of "seasonals," indicating that long-term or seasonal rates are available. These rates often provide the best value for frequent or extended stays, allowing campers to leave their rigs on site for the entire season. Inquire about prospective seasonal information for the upcoming year, as rates may vary based on site size and location within the campground.
- Weekly & Extended Stay Discounts: Like many campgrounds, Big Guys may offer discounts for booking multiple nights, such as "stay X nights, get the Yth night free" or reduced weekly rates compared to daily rates.
- Themed Weekend Specials: While not a discount on the site fee itself, the numerous themed weekends and activities provided at no extra charge (beyond the campsite fee) offer significant added value and entertainment, essentially serving as a "promotion" of fun experiences.
- Loyalty Programs: As an "up and coming" campground, they might introduce loyalty programs for returning guests in the future. It's always worth asking if such a program exists or is planned.
- Special Event Packages: If they host specific events (like their Western theme or other announced gatherings), there might be packages that bundle the stay with certain event-related perks.
- Referral Programs: Some campgrounds offer incentives for campers who refer new guests.
For the most accurate and current information on rates, seasonal packages, or any special offers, New Yorkers should directly contact Big Guys Campground by phone or check their official website. Big Guys Campground Reviews
So I am a firm believer in a honest review.. Big Guys is a nice campground.. the sites are nice size and for the most part the walkability is decent I seen where some ppl think it’s to big to walk and it may be the case for some they offer go cart rentals.. they have a ton of seasonals.. but it looks like for the most part they have a code they need to keep up with since it don’t look run down.. they warn you about water pressure and they sell regulators in there store which has a variety of items at prices u expect.. the Back Porch tavern had good food and the prices were fair..tall mixed drinks were 8$ each not bad but still steep..the first one we had each didn’t have much alcohol in it so we made it known on the 2nd which was way better..a lot for kids to do decent playground.. pool that was clean and the area was well kept.. and the jump pillow was a hit I wanted to jump but at almost 50 I may of gotten a few crazy looks lol.. Saturday they had a western theme which unfortunately had to be adjusted so to the rain.. we played bingo which was as to be expected..they had a singer and for someone who loves country music he wasn’t for me..but that’s just my opinion..being 2 hrs20 mins away I am unsure if I would go back only do to the fact nothing to do in the area really.. we went for 4 days.
Jun 01, 2025 · Carol EmmonsBig Guys is a great up and coming campground. We have a pop up so utilized a tent site with power - plenty of space to put the camper in and set up. The pool is beautiful, the playground is good quality with a side of farmer flare.. my 9 year old loved the pillow bounce pad, we all enjoyed the various activities (bingo, crafts, water ears, disc golf etc). The camp store had all the right things including Byrne dairy ice cream sandwiches a gourmet dog treats! A total bonus is the 585 Tavern in the same grounds for delicious good!
Aug 06, 2024 · Rebecca BeyerleinWe rented a premium tent site for the Eclipse (check in 4/7 and check out 4/9). Well, the skies didn’t cooperate but the stay was lovely. Our original site was a muddy mess. We would have had to walk through a foot of mud to get to the W/E hookups. I’m all about roughing it at times but didn’t want the tent to sink into the mud overnight. We called Marie right away and she was able to move us to an RV site that had much drier ground. We saw a few other tenters around us so I have to imagine the same thing happened to themThat said, the hospitality and service of this campground is amazing. Well kept and clean! The facilities are self contained meaning your toilet and shower are completely private. A QR code in each bathroom allowed you to let the staff know if it needed cleaning or supplies.Even tho we didn’t see the eclipse, we had a great time.
Apr 10, 2024 · Erika GravatoLarge spacious pull thru site on gravel. This place is very new, so many great plans for the future. It's only going to get better. Large arcade and movies theater in the white barn, Laundry bathrooms, and Event room in the red barn. Some people were enjoying their disk golf course. Some cool trails to hike or ride on, a creek area in the woods. We enjoyed the Campground and the smoking tails distillery this weekend. We even ventured over to the Destination Bar & Grill, wow this place is so Clean and Cute 😍 Drinks were cold music was great and the Owners were very social able and accommodating. We will be back and recommend this to anyone!
Jul 17, 2023 · Mistie BeachI canceled reservations months before we were supposed to go.,they still charged me a $30 even though I told her I severely broke my ankle with platesand screws taking a long time to bd able to walk.and I couldn’t safely exit the camper. It may be beyond October before I can walk. I sold the camper thinking I can’t use it in my condition. She didn’t care. You would think they’d be nice to wave the cancellation fee because of my injury that prevented me from camping. Been there before . It was noisy, and could barely have internet there. Was going to gove them a second chance but couldn’t. Don’t recommend them.
