Barber Homestead Park Reviews
This is our first time here, very nice! First off we were very impressed at just how helpful and friendly Billie was and stayed during our 2 weeks here. She always checked to make sure everything was good, much appreciated that kindness. The free showers, bathhouse and laundry room was so clean and sparkling. We will 100% be back here. Thank you! Jun 12, 2023 · deborah glazierWe spent 5 days and nights here and enjoyed it completely. Never felt that we had to secure our items when we went exploring the area. A lot to do around there. The owners made us feel very welcome. We are definitely going to be going back. Clean, spacious sites. Quiet campgrounds. Cell and WiFi was iffy at best, but we didn’t care. Highly recommend this campground.
Aug 19, 2020 · Debbie MccormacBilly and Charlie are the cats pajamas! They make this campsite one of my favorites. They were super accommodating with getting us a site close to the wifi router, since we work remote. Park was clean, lovingly maintained, and the planned activities were a hoot! I really felt like I was in a community when I started there and was sad to leave. Stayed for around 6 weeks over the summer of 2021. Beautiful country right on the water. Couldn't ask for more!
Jan 28, 2022 · Kelly SmithFirst of all thanks to Billie & Charlie. Very friendly hosts. We only stayed for three days, wish it could have been longer. One of the nicest places we have stayed. So peaceful and quiet with great views and access to lake Champlain. Also the best firewood bundles we’ve ever bought! Hope to be back next year. We are headed west for the rest of the summer so doubt if we’ll be back before they close for the season.
Jul 28, 2020 · Paul BoucherThe campground owners did an excellent job in reserving our site and making sure everything was to our satisfaction. There are various full-timers and seasonal folks, and they were the friendliest I've ever met. This CG is next to Lake Champlain so it has some beautiful views from nearby trails, has very little noise from children (no offense to parents), and is very clean and well maintained. They've been around 21 years! Sites were level and spacious, and easy to get in and out. Perfect place to stay to explore the Adirondacks!
