Aspen Glade Campground Reviews
Just finished a 5 day stay at Aspen Glade. I believe this campground is one of the nicest spots along the Conejoes River in this area. More ponderosa pines than many of the other campgrounds. Very nice, level sites. Clean vault toilets. The camp hosts are great. Mike is a character and what I like to call, casually professional, with a good sense of humor. Both excellent attributes to ensure your stay is a success. The only downside was the fishing. Unfortunately the river was high and muddy so even trying every day I failed to get a single strike. No one else fishing had any better luck so disappointed at such a bust. The saving grace was the beautiful location making it all worthwhile.

Jul 01, 2025 · robert eckerleWe had the Best camping spot this weekend. Super friendly camp host Michael and Punky. Gave all the info for a wonderful stay. We will be back. Thank you.
Jun 29, 2025 · Paula SmithWe arrived at site #15 on June 15th for a two week stay. After we arrived we were informed that the generator could only be used from 10am-6pm. That is a change from last year when it was 6am-10pm. Punky and Michael said “those are the rules” hmmm, I guess it is their rules. We would have never booked the trip had we known. Anyway we only needed a few minion the morning and evening to prepare breakfast and dinner. (Very quiet generator.) Nope, so eating breakfast after 10am isn’t not an option so we left the next day. No refund available. We will return when the new managers are more reasonable. Hopefully that will be soon!
Jun 21, 2025 · Teresa ScarpinatoWe stayed here 3 nights, just got home today actually. Beautiful campground with amazing sites on the river & minimal bugs. We were in the upper loop but hope to get a site on the river next time. Fished but did not catch. It's a different fishing experience than the Arkansas for example. Bathrooms are super clean, it's quiet & ample space in between sites. We also hiked to the First meadow on Elk Creek . Great trail & beautiful valley. Can't wait to come back for more fun, second meadow, Duck Lake etc.
