No trash service, dump station was not in a good spot, lots of flies everywhere. Camp hosts were super nice. Wi-Fi was weak and the signal was supposed to be stronger at a pavilion, but we couldn't find any pavilion. Owners are nice and the place is mostly full time sites, so the rates are good. Road in was bad though and the flies were ridiculous! - Chris Bloomfield

Sewer hookups may be available on some sites or via a central dump station.
  • Seasonal/Long-Term Sites: A significant portion of the campground is dedicated to seasonal or full-time sites, fostering a stable and tight-knit community among campers. This arrangement often provides excellent value for those looking for a consistent summer retreat.
  • Tent Camping: While primarily RV-focused, there may be limited options for traditional tent camping. It is advisable to confirm availability and amenities for tent sites directly with the campground.

Promotions or Special Offers

Arkwright Hills Campground, with its emphasis on affordability and a strong community of seasonal campers, primarily offers value through its rate structure rather than frequent, short-term promotional deals. The "good rates," particularly for longer stays, are a significant draw for New York campers looking for cost-effective options. To get the most accurate and current information on pricing and any specific seasonal offerings, it is always recommended to contact Arkwright Hills Campground directly via phone.

Based on the information available, the primary "offers" or value propositions are typically reflected in their tiered pricing for different lengths of stay:

  • Seasonal Rates: This is likely a key feature, offering significant savings for New Yorkers who wish to secure a spot for the entire camping season. Seasonal rates are often substantially lower per night compared to daily or weekly rates, reflecting the campground's focus on long-term guests. Details on seasonal site availability and pricing would need to be obtained directly from the campground.
  • Daily and Weekly Rates: Arkwright Hills Campground would offer standard daily and weekly rates for those seeking shorter visits. The "good rates" mentioned in reviews suggest these are competitively priced within the region.
  • Long-Term Value: The overall emphasis on accommodating full-time and seasonal sites inherently provides a form of promotion by catering to a specific type of camper who is looking for an extended, affordable retreat. This allows campers to establish a consistent "home away from home" throughout the warmer months.

As a more community-focused and potentially less amenity-dense campground than larger resorts, Arkwright Hills may not participate in common discount programs (like Good Sam or AAA) or run online booking specials as frequently. Your best course of action for discovering the most favorable rates and confirming availability for your preferred stay duration is to directly reach out to the campground's friendly owners or hosts.
