Yorktowne Mobile Estates Association Reviews
Alright place. Lived here from 2015-2023 and the neighborhood was just fine when we lived there.I will list the pros first:1. The place is somewhat quiet for how many people live here. There are some things like this and the other that happen from time to time but nothing serious2. The place is somewhat safe. There are the rednecks and the old cranky people and the metheads in the corners but nothing to be concerned much about. It’s at least safe enough to walk down the street and back without getting shot or getting severely injured for whatever reason.3. The Nature is nice. The sunsets in this place look awesome from a certain view, and they add to the ambiance. But, this doesn’t come with its downsides1. Although this place is getting some work tended to it, there are some places where work hasn’t been seen. I would like for them to make the park a little bit more modernized for today’s standards, but it’s not like kids will end up going there, because phones have become way too mainstream2. Although the place is safe, I don’t say that completely. Some people may try to assault others for whatever dispute they may have between each other. The old guy that lived in the trailer across from us tried to assault my brother playing basketball with maple syrup one day and we had to call the cops on him.3. Not too much things to do here. I know this is just a little 35 acre trailer park in the middle of nowhere on the county line between Fayette and Clark county, there could be some more things to do here. This place is alright, but there could be some work around the edges.
May 24, 2025 · Snawder GamingI just love this place. It's nice and quiet and far enough away from Winchester that you can actually get some peace 😉
Mar 05, 2024 · Nicole Lane-SimonsonHave owned my home here for 8 years and except for some mischievous kids it has been a quite and respectful place to live. There is a park in the center for the younger children. There is a nice place to walk in the center of of the park for the adults.
Feb 02, 2018 · Bill Marcumlived here for 3 yrs, I am a renter. I have had ZERO problems w/police for myself or anyone that lives here. This is truly the nicest mobile home estate in town. I have had nothing but compliments on the community that I live in.
Nov 25, 2015 · mary wiseI lived here as a teenager and it was really nice back then, now it's still by far the best trailer park in the city of winchester but it has its issues. The bored refuses to do anything when a lady who is staying with her daughter liturally screams and yells at children, calls kids with autism the "2 retarded kids" and then will sit on the porch all day and nod out... the old lady and her grandson have had the cops out here on them no less then 10 times in the year I have been back. My wife and I have 5 kids between the two of us and we can't let the older kids go out and play on the deck my dad and I built that is the length of the house because we are afraid the lady will start screaming at them and I will end up having to go off on her and that's something I don't want to do. But other than her and her family my other neighbors are very quite and respectful. The roads could use a little tending to and the park could have a few more things added to it. We pay a decent amount of dues but yet they still closed the pool, the basketball goals are old and raggedy and don't even have nets. Oh another good thing is now you are able to submit plans and build onto your home, have a garage and even have a huge shed. Back when Cora Whitt was the chair person of the board only she could fix her place up nicely while the rest of us couldn't have crap unless you bribed her or something. But thank sweet baby jesus she is gone because if it would have still been her I don't care how good of a deal I got my house for I would have passed lol. But all and all its a trailer park that has some older places that the rent is cheap on so it attracts low income families with 13 kids who they let run wild, it also has some of the most beautiful places I've seen that should be somewhere else lol. They keep the park clean and the grass mowed, they have nice little holiday events for the kids, you can rent the clubhouse for birthday parties and a lot more that make it a not so bad place.
