Yellowstone RV Park Introduce
Welcome to Yellowstone RV Park, a premier destination for Montana residents and travelers exploring the gateway to the world's first national park. Located in Gardiner, Montana, this RV park and campground offers a truly unrivaled setting: perched right alongside the magnificent Yellowstone River, providing spectacular views and the soothing sounds of flowing water that define the Montana experience. For any Big Sky Country adventurer, securing a spot with full amenities so close to the North Entrance of Yellowstone National Park is a major advantage, allowing for maximum time exploring the geysers, wildlife, and vast wilderness that make our state famous.
In Montana, RV travel is not just a vacation; it's a way of life. The ability to bring your home-on-wheels and set up camp immediately next to a world-class attraction like Yellowstone is invaluable. Yellowstone RV Park caters specifically to this need by offering a range of accommodations for both RV and tent campers, ensuring that whether you’re driving a massive Class A motorhome or setting up a simple tent, you have a comfortable and convenient place to stay. This park is particularly popular due to its proximity—it’s just a mile from the iconic Roosevelt Arch—the only entrance to the park that is open year-round for vehicle traffic, including the popular winter destination of Mammoth Hot Springs and the wildlife haven of Lamar Valley.
The surrounding community of Gardiner is an authentic, rugged Montana town dedicated to outdoor recreation and serving park visitors. Choosing Yellowstone RV Park means you are perfectly positioned to participate in local activities like whitewater rafting on the Yellowstone River, horseback riding, fly-fishing, and hiking in the nearby Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness. The combination of a peaceful riverfront setting with immediate access to essential town services and the national park makes this campground a highly strategic choice for any Montanan planning their next great adventure.
Its location is one of the most compelling reasons to choose this park. It sits just over a mile north of the Roosevelt Arch, the historic stone gateway to Yellowstone National Park’s North Entrance. This extreme proximity allows travelers to reach the park boundary in minutes. Furthermore, the park is situated below the highway, nestled right on the banks of the Yellowstone River, which affords many sites beautiful riverfront views and a peaceful atmosphere despite being close to the main road. Accessibility features are a priority at this location, making it welcoming to all guests:

September 05 · Chris MelcherPretty basic campground, great location right next to the entrance of Yellowstone park. The toilet & showers are very good, the laundry room is easy to use and they’ll change for coins up in the office if you need :)There’s also picnic table for each RV.**There’s no WiFi but there is cellular network reception.
July 24 · Michal Carmel⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. We had a great experience tent camping at Yellowstone RV Park! The tent site was spacious and well-maintained, giving us plenty of room to relax. The bathrooms were clean and tidy, which is always a big plus. Our tent was near the river—it was a bit loud, but the sound made for a peaceful and restful night’s sleep. Highly recommend this spot for a comfortable and scenic camping experience!
June 02 · Leslie Anne StrandGreat location for Yellowstone, no hassle getting in and out of our site. We checked in late and left early. It was a great jumping off point for us. Hookups were great, sites were good size and we enjoy our stay!!
July 18 · Bryan BWe used this as a base to visit the Park. It is very close to the North gate. It was also an easy walk into Gardiner for restaurants. (There is actually RV parking in the town too if you don't want to walk) the facilities were immaculate, the staff helpful and friendly. Overall a very pleasant park to stay in.
