Wrangler RV & Boat Storage Introduce
For RV enthusiasts and mobile residents looking for a strategic base in Colorado Springs, Wrangler RV & Boat Storage offers a unique blend of temporary and extended-stay RV camping coupled with dedicated storage facilities. Located conveniently on the city's east side, the facility provides an accessible stopping point for travelers and a long-term home for those residing in the Pikes Peak region. Its combination of an RV park, motel, and storage facility means it caters to a wide variety of needs, from an overnight stay to a monthly residential solution.
The core offering is providing essential RV camping lots with utility hookups. The park is often utilized by individuals needing flexible, month-to-month housing or those associated with the nearby military installations like Peterson Air Force Base and Schriever AFB. The convenience factor is high, with the park providing basic amenities like picnic tables and a centrally located laundry facility. Sites are typically all covered in gravel, a common feature in urban mountain-state RV parks, and are equipped to handle big rigs, including pull-through options.

Introduction / Overview
Wrangler RV & Boat Storage is a multi-faceted facility at 6225 E Platte Ave, designed to serve both the recreational vehicle and boat storage needs of the Colorado Springs community. It functions primarily as an RV park offering daily, weekly, and monthly full hookup sites, making it a viable option for long-term residential stays. It also includes an on-site motel for travelers not in an RV, and various storage lots for vehicles and boats.
Monthly rates are available for both Pull-through ($765) and Back-in ($745) sites, which include water, sewer, laundry, shower/restroom facilities, electricity (30/50 amp), and trash service. This inclusive pricing model simplifies budgeting for long-term residents. The lots are notably spacious, with some sites measuring up to 35ft x 100ft, providing ample room for larger rigs.
However, potential residents must give significant weight to the serious issues raised in customer reviews concerning management and customer relations, particularly for those planning extended stays. One long-term resident reported a breakdown of basic respect and customer courtesy, including being pressured to leave a paid-for spot early and being told "it's my own fault" for management's scheduling error. Another review cited "very very shady people," relating an incident where management allegedly requested the removal of security cameras for a storage room cleaning, leading to a stolen deposit and accusations of door damage. These accounts necessitate a cautious approach; transparency and firm, written agreements regarding move-out dates, security measures, and deposits are strongly advised before booking a long-term spot.

What is Worth Choosing Wrangler RV & Boat Storage
Choosing Wrangler RV & Boat Storage is most worthwhile for the long-term resident or military-affiliated individual in Colorado Springs who needs an affordable, full-service, and conveniently located RV base. The compelling features are the all-inclusive monthly rate (covering utilities, laundry, and showers), the big rig-friendly sites with spacious accommodations, and the unbeatable proximity to Peterson AFB. The added convenience of on-site RV and boat storage is a significant plus for residents needing to store their secondary vehicles securely.
However, the decision must be made with eyes wide open regarding the serious and repeated customer service and management issues reported in reviews. The accounts of disrespectful treatment, scheduling errors leading to forced early departures, and issues surrounding security cameras and deposits are critical drawbacks. For those choosing Wrangler, especially for a monthly stay, it is paramount to document every agreement in writing, confirm all move-out dates are legally respected according to the monthly payment cycle, and clarify the policy on personal security measures. If you are prepared to manage the interpersonal issues, the park offers a highly practical and affordable long-term living solution in a strategic Colorado Springs location.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Had 3 decent years living parked at this campground. When it came time to move I tried to give the courtesy talk to the ladies up front that I was going to try to be out by Easter Sunday. Well my plans fell through and the new spot wasn’t ready yet. Shouldn’t had been a problem as I paid for a full month and it wasn’t up until 3 more days. Well they told someone the spot was ready already and they kept calling me asking why I wasn’t gone yet. Come to the following Monday I get a call in the morning demanding I LEAVE WORK and move my camper right away because the new person is already coming. Save your money and sanity and give it to a campground that will give you basic respect I had both staff and the owner telling me it’s my own fault and that they didn’t care I needed to be gone already
April 22 · JD KingVery very shady people! They told me to remove my security cameras for my belongings in order to clean that room! I've never heard of that before anywhere! The things contained within that room valued higher than the price of my car! Then the owner said that I did something to the door and stole my $50 deposit on top of it all. Very very shady people
September 02 · D Y (Dewey)Park has become more than bleak over the years. It's usually fairly quiet other than being next to Platte. Grounds are sub par at best. Amenities are just a word. For some reason the owner thought it would be a good idea to cut down all of their big shade trees?
November 19 · B_ onezI store my camper here. I was promised a lot coming open, that someone else got. I'm told I'm on a waiting list, but not sure they really even want to give me a space to use, not just for storage. Part of staff is amazingly friendly part isn't.
June 02 · Tracey RhoadsWonderful staff and they will go out of their way to fit you in the park. Prices no more, no less then most but the location is very convenient (middle of town on east side right off powers and platte in Colorado Springs. I've been going there since the 1970's. They also have a small hostel too but call ahead as they stay full year round.
