WILD COUNTRY RV PARK Introduce
For RV enthusiasts and travelers exploring the scenic wonders and vast plains of Colorado, finding a reliable, well-equipped, and welcoming park is essential. Wild Country RV Park, nestled in the small, friendly community of Keenesburg, Colorado, offers exactly that, serving as an ideal home base for both short-term visitors and those seeking extended stays in the region. Located conveniently near the bustling Denver metro area, this park provides a unique combination of quiet, small-town living with easy access to major city amenities and famous Colorado attractions.
The park is proudly family-owned and operated, rooted in the agricultural history of Keenesburg, and this local connection is evident in the welcoming and communicative atmosphere praised by many long-term residents. Wild Country RV Park is designed with the modern RVer in mind, prioritizing space and essential services. The terrain is flat, featuring open spaces that offer a panorama of the surrounding Colorado plains and, on a clear day, views of the Rocky Mountains in the distance. This setting, just one mile east of Keenesburg, is a peaceful contrast to the high-density campgrounds often found closer to Denver and Boulder.
Wild Country is particularly well-suited for extended stays, a necessity for many traveling professionals or those taking a prolonged Colorado vacation. The park’s structure, which includes 182 generously sized sites, many of which are easy-to-navigate pull-throughs, caters to even the largest of RVs, including big rigs and 42-foot fifth wheels. The consistent provision of full hookups ensures a comfortable and hassle-free living experience, regardless of the length of your stay.
As with any community, the experience at Wild Country RV Park is shaped by the residents and the management’s commitment to upholding community standards. While some resident feedback mentions a strong enforcement of rules—often through on-site checks—this is seen by many as a positive aspect that contributes to a well-maintained, safe, and respectful environment for everyone. Clear rules, enforced fairly, ensure that the common areas and individual sites remain neat, which is highly appreciated by families and those staying long-term. This dedication to maintenance, including regular grass mowing for most of the grounds, helps to minimize common issues, creating a pleasant environment for all.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We’re are a family of five and we lived at wild country for almost a year and half! We have nothing but good things to say about our experience and the staff.Expectations and rules are very clearly listed in the agreement upon arrival. The staff does a great job to ensure these are followed so everyone can enjoy their stay.Everything is greatly communicated from staff to campersOur kids enjoyed riding their bikes, playing at the park and family walks with our two dogs. They are very dog friendly as well, from a decently sized dog park to plenty of dog stations around the park.We never had any issues with our hook ups and everything was very well maintained. The staff mows all the grass and ‘yards’ in the area.Highly recommend for long term or short term stays.
June 24 · Brenna CarmicalThis park is the absolute worst place I have ever stayed, the Maintenance people do such a terrible job. They can’t even keep the grass mowed, which makes a lot of snakes. And if you want privacy, forget about it they drive around on golf carts looking into your yard looking for any reason to Write a “citation” The maintenance woman makes it her own personal job to be the Karen! I had to leave because I was so uncomfortable of all the drama that she creates. It was a great place before they allowed those people to take over as maintenance. I feel sorry for the owners because they have no idea how bad it is. So if you want to pay to stay at a place with snakes all over because of lack of maintenance this place is for you
June 25 · Greg LarryOne of the best parks we’ve stayed at. We lived here for 6 months and never had any issues. Staff were always friendly and accommodating! In a great location, close to amenities but outside of the city. The town of Keenesburg was also great as well. Definitely our first recommendation!
June 26 · Jennifer CarlsonGreat RV park stayed here for 1.5 years with my family never had any issues and always felt safe. Never had issues with the utilities the park is very spread out nicely. You don't feel like you're on top of one another like other rv parks. The maintenance staff does a great job and I felt welcomed by the office staff.
June 26 · Chris MangBest RV park in the Denver area!Best RV park prices in the Denver area.If you are looking for a safe and inviting “long term” RV park, this should be your #1 choice.Located in a town with around 1000 people, 20 minutes from the next “big” town and 45 minutes from the excitement of Denver. After 2 years of calling this place home, I would recommend this RV park to anyone traveling to Colorado.Staff, maintenance, prices, friendly neighbors and (for my pet friends) lots of dogs!
