Welcome Home Community Office Reviews
I have lived here for 4 years now and have grown to really love it. The property managers and maintenance staff always respond in a timely manner and are very helpful. The trailers are rent to own, so issues inside the home are the tenant's responsibility, but any issues outside the home they will take care off. My power went out unexpectedly in January during 30° weather. When I contacted Evergy they said they couldn't do anything about it because on their end my power was on and to call an electrician. I called Joel the next day instead and he said it was good I called them first because maintenance would take care of it for free, and they did that same day! Joel was very diligent in updating me about the issue while I was at work and I was extremely relieved to come home to a warm house that night. The staff and maintenance have always been very helpful and answer questions. They send out text messages to the community in advance if water lines are scheduled to be shut off for maintenance, if certain streets close for repairs, or if the trash day is moved due to a holiday or weather. They keep the community informed. Rent has increased a bit since I first moved in, but they always gave notice months in advance and it is still well below other neighborhoods in the area. My ONLY real complaint is how picky they can be about lawn care at times. If your grass is too tall they will give you a notice on Friday to mow it or they will charge $40 to do it for you the following Monday. They prefer the lawns short. It's a little annoying, but I can understand wanting to keep the neighborhood looking nice, especially since "trailer parks" have a stereotype. The neighborhood is typically calm, quiet, and clean. There have been a few hiccups over the years, but I've always felt safe here and enjoy walking around the neighborhood with my family. All in all, I have enjoyed living here!
Aug 16, 2024 · Baylee BristowFull disclosure: this review is solely from the perspective of making pick-ups and deliveries to the location, I've never lived there or transacted business with the owners. The streets are a little narrow and the cul de sacs are very small to get turned around in. If you're pulling a trailer it's very snug at best. The numbering system is strange making finding houses annoying too. Otherwise, seemingly clean and well maintained.
Jun 10, 2024 · DOOD JQuick to grab your money but won't put any of it back into the park. The office staff are useless and only care about taking your money and won't help with anything. They will also illegally change your locks BEFORE your final move out day and refuse to let you into your unit to let you finish moving out. Sketchy and grubby management for sure.
Mar 25, 2024 · Ashlee BaugherDon’t have any issues with the management team, but definitely not happy the rent increase is $30.00 starting 2024. I can understand an increase, but by $30.00!? That’s not even realistic! We are already in recession and most of us living in poverty… can’t barely afford food in the house but let’s spend $30.00 on rent instead of groceries! $70.00 barley gets you dinner for ONE NIGHT! That’s half the increase of this lot rent! Ugh!
Dec 10, 2023 · Jessica JaegerIt's cool gas stations are close to Welcome Home and that you can Live here with big Trailers and fit a lot of stuff here but it might not feel comfortable at first but the more you live In Welcome Home the more you get comfortable and used to the environment.
