This model often provides a more affordable entry point into homeownership compared to traditional stick-built housing, especially in a state like Delaware. The park aims to provide a stable and well-managed environment for its residents. Reviews often commend the management and maintenance teams for their responsiveness and effectiveness. While the park is an all-ages community, some feedback suggests it might be particularly suited for those who appreciate a quieter pace, as extensive child-focused amenities are not explicitly part of its communal offerings. Walkers Mill Mobile Home Park Reviews
The homes are nice, though they use particle boards for the flooring and get soft and weak when they get wet. There aren't any parks for children within the neighborhood, despite having 30+ kids on the school buses. Swimming pools aren't allowed in here. Neither are basketball courts, trampolines or swingsets.
Mar 12, 2025 · Aaron KesterNot a place to live if you have children. Theres nothing for them to do. They run and play unsupervised in the streets. Management and maintenance is good. Some people have vegetable gardens which make their lots and the neighboring yards look bad. Need to clean those yards up especially the one on first street , its terrible all that mess going on, on that lot. I dont think its allowed. But that person dont care what the rules are. They should turn this community into a senior living place. Been living here 20 years and have seen improvements but not enough for what we pay in rent now.
