Village Riverside Introduce
For many residents across California, finding suitable and affordable housing can be a significant challenge. Mobile home parks often present an alternative living solution that blends community, a unique lifestyle, and potentially different financial considerations compared to traditional stick-built homes. Village Riverside, located in the bustling city of Riverside, California, is one such community that offers manufactured home living. This article will provide a clear, engaging, and informative overview of Village Riverside, helping prospective residents in the California region understand what this mobile home park has to offer.
A mobile home park, also widely known as a manufactured home community, is a residential development where individuals can own or rent a manufactured home and lease the land it occupies. These communities are distinct from traditional neighborhoods in that they often feature shared amenities and a structured management system. They can foster a strong sense of community among residents, providing a more intimate living experience. Village Riverside aims to be a functional and accessible mobile home park that caters to a diverse range of residents, offering a specific type of living arrangement within the Riverside urban landscape.
Village Riverside is conveniently located at 3663 Buchanan St, Riverside, CA 92503, USA. Riverside itself is a large, dynamic city situated in Southern California, known for its extensive urban development, historical landmarks, and its role as a regional hub. The park's address on Buchanan Street places it within a well-established section of the city, providing residents with relatively easy access to a variety of services, facilities, and entertainment venues that Riverside has to offer.
The location of Village Riverside offers a mixed bag of accessibility and environmental factors. Its proximity to "fun entertainment spots" suggests that residents can easily access local attractions, dining, and shopping without extensive travel. This can be a significant advantage for those who enjoy being close to urban conveniences. For commuters, the location within Riverside means relatively straightforward access to major freeways such as the I-15, CA-60, and CA-91, facilitating travel throughout the Inland Empire and beyond. Public transportation options in Riverside, provided by the Riverside Transit Agency (RTA), would likely serve the area around Buchanan Street, offering additional mobility for residents who prefer not to drive or rely solely on personal vehicles for all their needs. However, a notable aspect of the park's location, as highlighted by a resident, is its proximity to train tracks, which can lead to significant noise and vibrations within homes. This is an important consideration for anyone sensitive to noise. Despite this, the park is described as being "far enough away from the freeway you can barely tell it's near by," which could suggest that while train noise is a factor, freeway noise might be less of an issue, contributing to a more localized quiet.
While specific, exhaustive details on all services offered by Village Riverside are best confirmed directly with park management, based on common practices within mobile home parks, residents can generally expect the following:
- Lot Rental: The primary service provided is the rental of individual plots of land where residents place their manufactured homes. These rentals typically include the right to use common areas and amenities.
- Community Management: A dedicated management team oversees the daily operations of the park. This includes enforcing park rules, maintaining common facilities, and acting as a point of contact for resident inquiries and concerns. Reviews indicate management is "okay" and "decent folks."
- Maintenance of Common Areas: This usually encompasses the upkeep and landscaping of shared spaces within the park, such as recreational facilities, community buildings, and general grounds, to ensure they remain functional and presentable.
- Utility Hookups: The park provides the necessary infrastructure for utility connections (e.g., water, sewer, electricity, natural gas) to each mobile home lot. Residents are typically responsible for setting up and paying for their individual utility services.
- Waste Management: Most mobile home parks arrange for regular trash and recycling collection services for their residents.
Village Riverside offers a living experience with certain features and highlights that are important for prospective residents to consider. Based on resident feedback, these include:
- Proximity to Entertainment: The park is noted as being "near fun entertainment spots," suggesting convenient access to local attractions, dining, and leisure activities in Riverside. This can enhance the social and recreational lives of residents.
- Family-Oriented Atmosphere: One review describes it as a "family oriented Mobile Home Park," indicating that it may be a welcoming environment for families with children, potentially offering a sense of community for all ages.
- Friendly Residences: The community is characterized by "very friendly residences within the community," which suggests a positive and welcoming social environment among neighbors. This can contribute significantly to the overall living experience and sense of belonging.
- Noise Considerations: A prominent feature, albeit a challenging one, is the park's proximity to train tracks, leading to regular train noise and vibrations. Prospective residents should be aware of this environmental factor.
- Management Presence: Reviews indicate that the management is present and considered "decent folks," which suggests a level of responsiveness and normalcy in park operations.

Village Riverside offers a unique set of considerations for locals in the California region looking for a mobile home park option in Riverside. For those who prioritize proximity to urban entertainment and desire a potentially family-oriented community with friendly neighbors, Village Riverside could be an appealing choice. The sense of community, as highlighted by resident testimonials, can be a significant benefit, fostering connections and a supportive living environment.
However, it is crucial for prospective residents to weigh the benefits against specific challenges, particularly the noise and vibrations from the nearby train tracks. While the park is described as a "beautiful quiet place" by some, the train noise is a consistent factor. Additionally, discussions around lot rent affordability and property maintenance issues, such as the described hole, indicate that a thorough investigation and direct communication with park management are essential before making any commitments. For locals in California considering mobile home living, Village Riverside offers an established community with accessibility to Riverside’s amenities. Those who are comfortable with the unique environmental factors and who value community and proximity to urban life might find Village Riverside to be a suitable option for their housing needs. It represents an alternative housing solution that combines the potential for community living with the practicalities of an urban setting.

Village Riverside Reviews
Lived here for about 5 years now, it wasn't worth it. The park is near fun entertainment spots but also right up on some train tracks which rattle the entire house every hour. The management is okay, they're decent folks. There's a few trap houses in here, one of the spaces has a lab in the living room. The rent price for the lot is atrocious though. It's extremely unreasonable and doesn't justify actually living here as you can mortage out a large house for the price of the mobile home and lot. There's also a massive hole in the ground on the right side of the complex that's never been filled and WILL damage your car if you go through it. Overall, I would never recommend living here. It's just not worth it at all
Sep 18, 2024 · Anurag MisraSuch a beautiful quiet place. A family oriented Mobile Home Park, it's far enough away from the freeway you can barely tell it's near by.Very friendly residences within the community.
Oct 26, 2022 · Ryan BonillasThe worst place to call home for many residents. My mom sadly bought her home in this mobile home park. They have the worst management the RUDE women attending calls has no phone etiquette and is bluntly rude. They also have a handyman or I dont know his job title a this establishment, he is very hostile and of course rude and unprofessional. The way they are managing the property and treating residents is very sad. Your are not allowed to do much here. If you rent they will ask to evict your renter . Many neighbors have complained and know exactly the type of individuals . Corporate has been contacted for their poor character and professionalism .
Oct 22, 2019 · ricardo ramosI read the comments of the manager before moving in Deborah..This lady is very un presional. She made go through hoops and to get the application. She made study the rules and regulations. The instructions were in English and she said that everyone should to take a written test . My wife not provided the rules in Spanish. I had to translate 8 pages full of rules. At the end this process took 2 weeks because of her incompetence. She eventually took our application and never gave us the stupid test were we spend 3 days going over in..this made us loose time and the owner decided to go with another buyer because of Deborah foolish. We always had to meet her in the parking lot and never in the office. We felt discriminated through all this process. I never felt soo little by any organization. Very unprofessional and discriminatory place. We will be filling a complaint with this organization. Plus they are ada complaint
Apr 24, 2022 · pSilvia ChaidezThey say it's a family Mobile Home Park but it's really not that family oriented and to that specifically the management. The managers I had an encounter with were not polite or professional. But the neighborhood and neighbors are nice.
