It's a place where the practicality of RV living meets the accessibility of urban amenities, providing an ideal base for both short-term travelers and those looking to establish a long-term residence.
RV parks in California serve a diverse range of needs, from temporary stopovers for adventurers exploring the Golden State to permanent homes for individuals and families embracing a minimalist and mobile lifestyle. Travel Home Park caters to both, though it has gained a reputation as a welcoming spot for long-term residents. Its commitment to providing essential services and a comfortable environment makes it a valuable resource for the local community and visitors alike.
Travel Home Park is strategically located at 1257 Live Oak Blvd, Yuba City, CA 95991, USA. This address places it squarely within the urban fabric of Yuba City, ensuring unparalleled convenience to a wide array of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. Yuba City itself is a bustling city in Sutter County, known for its agricultural heritage, growing community, and position as a gateway to Northern California's many natural attractions.
The park's location on Live Oak Boulevard provides straightforward access to major highways, including Highways 99 and 20, and is less than a mile from the Highways 20 and 70 junction in Marysville. This excellent connectivity makes it easy for residents and visitors to explore the wider region. Within walking distance, you'll find essential services such as grocery stores, pharmacies, and various restaurants, minimizing the need for extensive travel for daily needs. Furthermore, the park is a short drive from significant regional attractions, including the Sutter Buttes (often called the world's smallest mountain range), the Feather River, and numerous state parks and recreation areas that offer opportunities for hiking, biking, fishing, and boating. - Cost-Effective Living: As one resident noted, the combined cost of space rent, utilities, and RV payment can be significantly less than traditional home payments, offering an undeniable financial advantage.
- Community Vibe: While not explicitly stated as an organized community, the nature of RV parks often fosters a close-knit environment where residents get to know their neighbors. The positive review mentioning "little friendly squirrels and such" also hints at a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
It is important to acknowledge that reviews can be mixed, as indicated by a comment about rudeness and low empathy from staff during a first call. While overall positive reviews highlight aspects like quietness, shade, and reasonable pricing, it's always advisable for prospective residents or visitors to contact the park directly to ascertain current availability, policies, and address any specific concerns they may have about customer service or park rules. The park's website currently indicates that it is booked full and not accepting reservations or overnight stays, primarily catering to long-term residents. This suggests a high demand and a stable, established community.

Travel Home Park Reviews
Mostly quiet. Nice shade trees. Reasonable price for space. Cannot beat that space rent, PG&E and RV payment are way LESS than previous home payment alone (let alone outrageous power cost on top of that!)!! Can't beat it! Plus, all my little friendly squirrels and such.... We are close to everything. Minimize your life and feel FREE!!!
May 06, 2024 · Terri ZeppI should have listened to the bad reviews. They are really rude. First call and I can already see the low empathy and low education of the guy who answered me. STAY AWAY.
Oct 29, 2024 · A. R.I can't believe how disrespectful these people are and how on earth they have any customers. Theres absolutely no reason to treat anyone so nasty for no reason. And because I called them out on being extremely rude, they blew my phone up over and over, cussing me out, calling names because can't handle being called out, im shocked people do business like that and remain open, I've never made a complaint on anyone in my life but I feel like calling better business bureau and making a complaint. HORRIBLE BUSINESS AND CHILD BEHAVIOR
Jan 11, 2022 · amanda nicholsVery nice and lots of shady spots. Pulling in was tight but once you are in they were very spacious. They keep the place really clean but the hookups need some updating. Wifi was very slow.
Aug 14, 2015 · nguyet thuThe place is nice but it's full of not very friendly retired seniors with there managers are two of the most nosey, gossiping, rumor spreaders I've ever met. Would follow all of my visitors all the way to my trailer and then start reprimanding me and airing out my business in front of them. I first hand had the most unpleasant 2 months there from day one with sour looks. My neighbors that I did talk to, would say, wow what did you do to them that there constantly bad mouthing you?...idk . All in all I do not recommend this place and would only say to use it if you have no other options.
