Tindal&Young Ret. RV Park, like many smaller, privately-run RV accommodations, operates with a specific set of policies and a particular style of management. It's important for prospective guests to align their expectations with what the park provides. While not every RV park can be a resort with a full suite of amenities, some excel in offering a no-frills, cost-effective, and long-term solution for RV parking. This overview will present the available factual data, allowing individuals to weigh the benefits and potential challenges as reported, ensuring a transparent understanding of what a stay at Tindal&Young Ret. RV Park might entail.
Tindal&Young Ret. RV Park is located at 19611 Keller Rd, Foley, AL 36535, USA. Foley is a growing city in Baldwin County, Alabama, known for its mix of rural charm and increasing development. The park's address places it in a more secluded area, away from the immediate hustle and bustle of Foley's downtown core, which might appeal to those seeking a quieter environment.
Despite its somewhat rural setting, the park's location on Keller Road provides reasonable accessibility to key areas of interest. Foley is strategically positioned in South Baldwin County, offering convenient access to the popular white-sand beaches of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, typically a 20-30 minute drive away. This proximity allows residents to enjoy coastal recreation without being in the midst of tourist crowds.
For daily necessities, residents can access various convenience stores and restaurants within a ten-minute drive from the park. Larger retail centers, grocery stores, and medical facilities are readily available in Foley itself. Notable attractions in the wider Foley area include OWA Parks & Resort, a major entertainment destination with a theme park, dining, and shopping. Other points of interest include the Tanger Outlet Mall for shopping, the Foley Sports Tourism Complex, and various local parks and natural preserves like the Graham Creek Nature Preserve, offering outdoor activities. The balance of a quieter location with reasonable access to essential services and entertainment makes this area generally convenient for local Alabamians who appreciate both tranquility and accessibility.
- RV Parking Lots: The primary service offered by Tindal&Young Ret. RV Park is providing spaces for recreational vehicles. While the specific number or size of lots is not detailed, it serves as a place for RVs to be parked, often for extended periods given the nature of some of the reviews.
- Electricity Hookups: Guests are provided with electricity, though a significant point of concern raised in customer reviews pertains to the billing for this service. One review states, "they over charge for electric they charge everyone different kilowatt hours ours was .22 cents per kilowatt hour most expensive of anyone there the rate is .10." This suggests that electricity is metered, but the pricing structure and consistency are points of contention for some past tenants.
- Water and Sewer Hookups: While not explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews, it is standard for RV parks offering long-term stays to provide full hookups, including water and sewer, in addition to electricity. However, the reviews do not confirm the presence or quality of these specific connections.
- Basic Environment: Based on the reviews, the park offers a very basic environment. It is explicitly noted that there is "No laundry room," "no showers," and "no amenities period." This indicates that the park does not provide common facilities often found in other RV resorts or campgrounds.
- Affordable Base Rate: One review mentions a "cheap 250 month" rate, suggesting a lower monthly base cost compared to some other RV parks in the area. This could be a highlight for budget-conscious individuals or those seeking long-term, economical RV parking. However, it's immediately followed by concerns about additional charges.
- Quiet (Generally): The park's rural setting on Keller Road would typically lend itself to a quieter atmosphere away from main road noise. While customer reviews focus more on management interactions than general noise, the location suggests a potentially peaceful environment if internal issues are not present.
- Basic and No-Frills Approach: For RVers who are fully self-contained (have their own showers, laundry, etc. within their RV) and prefer a very simple, hands-off parking spot without added amenities, the lack of facilities might be seen as a feature that keeps costs down and crowds minimal.
- Proximity to Foley and Coastal Alabama: Despite its internal issues, the geographic location itself is a highlight, offering residents access to the vibrant Baldwin County area, including beaches, shopping, and entertainment.

For Alabamians considering Tindal&Young Ret. RV Park, particularly those in the Foley area, it's crucial to approach this option with a clear understanding of its reported characteristics. Based on the provided customer reviews, the park appears to be a very basic, no-frills RV parking solution. Its primary suitability might lie in its potentially low base monthly rent, which could appeal to individuals seeking the absolute lowest cost for long-term RV parking in the Baldwin County area, especially if they are largely self-sufficient in their RV and do not rely on park amenities like showers, laundry, or recreational facilities.
The location in Foley offers a degree of rural tranquility while still providing reasonable access to the necessities and attractions of the broader South Alabama region, including the popular Gulf Shores beaches and local Foley amenities. This could be advantageous for locals who prioritize a quiet setting for their RV over extensive on-site services, provided they are prepared to manage their daily needs independently. However, the significant and consistent negative feedback concerning management's attitude, communication, and particularly the electricity billing practices (alleged overcharging and inconsistent rates) are critical factors that local Alabamians must carefully consider. These reported issues could severely impact the overall living experience, regardless of a low base rate. Prospective tenants are strongly advised to investigate these concerns thoroughly, perhaps by speaking with current or past residents, and clarifying all terms, especially regarding utility charges, before committing to a stay at Tindal&Young Ret. RV Park. Transparency and clear communication from the park management would be vital for any local considering this option.

Tindal&Young Ret. RV Park Reviews
Nasty attitude towards the tennet and there guest. Yelling and screaming about speeding when they do not have a radar..I personally am starting a campaign to have them completely shut down seeing as though I work for city council. We here in Foley will not tolerate this treatment towards our fellow man and tax payers any longer.
Jun 05, 2025 · Deez NittzMy ole man and I stayed at this park for maybe two months they are a joke poor business ethics, they over charge for electric they charge everyone different kilowatt hours ours was . 22 cents per kilowatt hour most expensive of anyone there the rate is .10 they use there dogs as a speed radar if they bark when you pass by their trailer your going over 5 mph ! Then they come down and yell at you! No laundry room which they said there was, no amenities period the RV parking is unlevel , but hey you get what you pay for cheap 250 month but it all adds up by the time they stick it to you in electric over charges . We won't be staying again !
