The Ole Cornfield Reviews
We had a wonderful time kayaking the Licking River in kayaks we rented from The Ole Cornfield! Justin and the crew were terrific! The kayaks were clean and ready when we arrived. Justin drove us to our drop-off point, helped us launch, and also helped us unload at the end of our journey. The scenery along the Licking River was spectacular! We watched Bald Eagles, Great Blue Herons, Green Herons, Belted Kingfisher, and soft shelled turtles. This is a highly professional operation and a bargain at a low price! Take your grandchildren on an adventure like we did!
Aug 02, 2024 · Thomas BiebighauserOur favorite place to kayak. The staff is really nice, it’s not too expensive, and the scenery is beautiful. The river is quiet and relaxing. Great to take the kids to let them have some independence since the water isn’t rough so they can paddle their own kayak.
Jul 07, 2024 · Q MilnerWe had a great time floating the river at The Ole Cornfield. They dropped us off up river and we slowly floated the few miles down to where they pulled our kayaks out. Very friendly people. Very relaxing to get out in nature and enjoy the beauty. Thanks so much James & Lauren & Justin!
Sep 05, 2023 · Jeremy GarberThe most peaceful area situated next to the Licking River but still close to the interstate. The owner was very nice and accommodating when we arrived late! Sites have water and electric hookups with a dump station at the exit. The hammocks, fire rings, and tables are a nice touch. The clean bathhouse was also appreciated. My only recommendation would be to get a simple website with a booking system and maybe keypad for after hours access.
Apr 27, 2022 · M MorganFantastic place to stay and float the river. The campground was very clean and nice. All of the facilities were updated and kept clean. The staff took great care of us camping and kayaking. The RV on site was our choice and it was awesome! Highly recommend the rv over ground camping! Can’t wait to come back and see old friends as well as make new ones!
