Tana-See Campground

112 Carson Springs Rd, Newport, TN 37821, USA

4.0
I strongly advise against recommending this campground. The camping spots are densely packed, and the proximity to a truck shop across the street results in constant truck traffic noise throughout the night. Initially, I had planned to stay here for over six months for work purposes, but after the first two weeks, the rent was increased from $550 to 650 to $750, and then again two weeks later to $850. Furthermore, the management attempted to unjustly withhold my deposit and added arbitrary miscellaneous fees to my bill. After only six weeks, I decided to leave. If you do choose to stay here, I recommend closely monitoring your bank account to prevent unauthorized charges. I had to clarify to the front desk staff that their actions were unlawful, and I would pursue legal action if I did not receive a full refund for my deposit and the additional charges. The staff member eventually agreed after my explanation. - Stephanie Carri
