Sundermeier RV Park Reviews
We have been staying here for over a decade. Super basic park. No pool, almost no shade, but nice flat sites and quick access to the historic area. This time was different though. When we arrived after hours, our registration wasn’t put out like it usually is. So we just took one of the two available spots. When we walked our dogs at bedtime we saw MANY cockroaches around one of the dumpsters, which is the stuff of nightmares. In the morning I went to check in. The staff person was late and blamed the owner for not putting out the reservation. She was busy blaming everyone for everything and clearly wasn’t having a good day.I would return but the customer service needs a brushing up. And get an exterminator.

May 25, 2025 · Melissa BlanchardCampground is clean, well laid out. You can walk out the back gate to get to the river trail. It is short bike ride to St Charles maybe a mile. It was about 30 minutes to downtown or the zoo.
Jun 11, 2025 · LisaVery simple, the manager, Darlene lacks customer service skills. It's her way or the highway. In my situation I should have taken the highway. The owner, Carol is just as bad, she referred to me as bitchy even though I had never spoken to her. They are adamant about not giving your money back when the sites are not what you paid for. I'm trying to keep this simple but trust me DO NOT STAY HERE!
May 19, 2025 · S HannonWe are a traveling nurse couple from out of state. We had issues with a creepy male couple who followed my wife to the bathrooms on more than one occasion. We took showers together whether in men’s or women’s didn’t see issue as it’s for our safety and boy were we correct. We were in separate showers and the owner and manager yelled and screamed banged on my wife’s shower stall and took her clothes telling her to get out. We than were told no man is allowed in women’s restroom whether they identify as woman or not. We were than told to leave which was quite allright but we were ripped off over 300$ for supposed water and electric for just one month. If you identify as a woman as a man I would not recommend staying here you will be harassed by the people who run the park. You will also see homeless people throughout park in their gazebo and in their restrooms. My hope is that more identifiers stay there and get them in trouble for not following the laws. There are better parks that are safer for families and provide better amenities for the price they charge.
