Summerfield Introduce
Are you exploring housing opportunities in the heart of Central Texas? The demand for practical, comfortable, and affordable living spaces continues to grow, and for many Texans, mobile home parks offer an excellent solution. They provide a unique blend of community living, independence, and often, a more budget-friendly approach to homeownership or long-term residency. If you’re considering options in the Killeen area, Summerfield Mobile Home Park is a community that warrants a closer look.
Summerfield Mobile Home Park is a well-established residential community located in Killeen, Texas, designed specifically to accommodate manufactured homes. These parks are thoughtfully developed to provide the necessary infrastructure—including essential utility hookups like water, sewer, and electricity—allowing residents to place their mobile homes on rented lots. This model of living is increasingly popular, offering a compelling alternative to traditional stick-built homes or apartment living. It provides a pathway to homeownership, or at least a stable, long-term residency, with typically lower entry costs and maintenance compared to conventional housing. Summerfield aims to foster a welcoming environment where residents can enjoy the comforts of their own home within a supportive and well-maintained community setting in Killeen.
Summerfield Mobile Home Park is conveniently located at 6100 E Rancier Ave, Killeen, TX 76543, USA. Killeen itself is a vibrant and growing city in Bell County, Texas, known for being home to Fort Cavazos (formerly Fort Hood), one of the largest U.S. military installations in the world. This strategic location offers residents of Summerfield a multitude of advantages. Being on East Rancier Avenue, the park provides straightforward access to major thoroughfares, making commutes to work, school, and essential services highly convenient. Residents will find themselves within easy reach of local amenities such as grocery stores, retail centers, medical facilities, and a variety of dining options. Furthermore, Killeen's central location in Texas means that larger metropolitan areas like Austin and Waco are accessible for day trips or extended excursions, adding to the desirability of living in this area. The park's accessibility is a significant benefit, allowing residents to fully engage with the Killeen community and beyond.

This suggests a peaceful living environment, conducive to relaxation and family life, away from the hustle and bustle often associated with urban living.

- Sense of Ownership: For those who own their mobile home, the park offers the benefit of property ownership (the home itself) combined with the shared benefits and lower maintenance of a managed community.
- Resilience and Adaptability: The park has evidently weathered significant weather events, such as the snow in January and February 2021, indicating a resilient infrastructure and community spirit among residents.
- Long-term Residency: The park caters to long-term residents, fostering a stable and established community where neighbors can build relationships over time.
While the quiet nature is a significant highlight, one resident noted the occasional issue with fireworks during holiday seasons, despite rules against them. Prospective residents are encouraged to consider these nuances and visit the park to observe the atmosphere firsthand. Overall, the emphasis on a calm and family-friendly environment remains a key feature.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Live here currently in my own mansion. Moved in February 2019. Very quiet with the exception of fireworks seasons, aka New years eve and July 4th. Even though it's forbidden but never enforced, fireworks for at least a week surrounding these timeframes.Had some snow in Jan and Feb 2021, enjoy the pictures.

June 12 · Jade DozierI live here. It's beautiful 😍2yrs here & this place has become very run down. Too many cars in the streets & very noisy late at night. Not like it used to be at all!😏
May 07 · carol kanellopoulosThe staff was friendly and professional. The community was clean and the neighbors were very friendly. I love living in the gated community. I had no problems doing the time I lived there for 5 years. If I needed to find places thing I will return to summerfield mobile home community
May 03 · Vickie HairstonWe were just kicked out of the pool by the maintenance man and his manager wife Jackie that me, my sister, and my nieces and nephews (4yr old, 8yrs old, and 10 yrs old) that we were not allowed to swim in the community pool because we didn’t have a pool pass, and that we were unable to get one because the office was closed Saturday and Sunday. The office isn’t closed it’s by appointment only so I asked if I could make an appointment to get a pool pass. They said no. I pay for this pool and to be able to use community amenities and I was denied access because the manager didn’t want to get out of the pool to do her job. Mind you, there isn’t anything in my lease nor on the website about needing a pool pass to be able to use the pool, nor did I receive anything in my email this year about needing a pool pass. This is not the first issue we’ve had with this manager and her husband. I will be fighting this power hungry couple to Murex Properties for directly going against Murex Company standards when it comes to problem solving with the residents.
