For Floridians considering mobile home living, especially within a 55+ community in Central Florida, Sugar Mill North Mobile Home Park in St. Cloud warrants a careful and informed decision. While the concept of a quiet, oversized home site within a gated community holds appeal for many locals, particularly retirees, it's crucial to weigh the current resident experiences against the advertised features.
The park's location in St. Cloud is a significant advantage for locals. It offers access to a more laid-back lifestyle than some of the bustling tourist areas, while still providing convenient access to essential services like shops, restaurants, and medical facilities. For those who enjoy outdoor activities, the region’s lakes, golf courses, and proximity to Florida's natural beauty are undeniable draws. Being near major highways also allows residents to easily explore the wider Central Florida area, including Orlando’s world-famous attractions and coastal beaches.
However, prospective residents should be acutely aware of the feedback regarding amenities and management. The consistent reports of non-functional amenities like the pool and gate, coupled with no corresponding reduction in lot rent, are serious considerations. While the park benefits from residents diligently maintaining their own yards, contributing to a "nice" appearance, this does not negate the issues with communal facilities. For Floridians, especially those on a fixed income or seeking a fully amenity-rich retirement, it is imperative to thoroughly investigate the current state of all promised features and to have clear expectations about management's responsiveness and policies regarding amenity upkeep and cost. Ultimately, for locals, Sugar Mill North could be suitable for those who prioritize location and potentially larger lot sizes, and are prepared to navigate the challenges presented by current amenity and management issues, or for those who verify that these issues have been fully resolved before committing.

Sugar Mill North Mobile Home Park Reviews
Do not waste your time you do not want to live here! Since being bought out by New Management we have a pool that does not work and a gate that does not work as well for our community. Our only amenity currently is a old small Jungle Gym area for small children. Management thinks it's acceptable to have a pool closed for a year and we're still paying for it!, however we also have to pay if we want to take our children to an actual pool at the YMCA. None of our lot rents or anything went down even though they've taken away our amenities. This has been going on since we were purchased as a park. Our sister Park next door has beautiful amenities that they are able to use and we are not. It cost way too much to live here, run.
Sep 03, 2021 · Catch22Scammers!! Don't move here!! We moved in and pay on time just so we don't have our amenities!! NO POOL FOR MONTHS! NO GATE FOR OVER 3 YEARS! it's there it just doesn't work. The owner's response is to blame the previous owners FROM THREE YEARS AGO and to keep trying"fix" it instead of replacing it with a working version that we PAY for! Management has not decreased our lit rent or made arrangements for residents to use a pool, we must pay more money to someone like a ymca, so we pay TWICE just to have pool access. This has been going on for 3 years. RUN!! Please see that everyone has been moving out since the new owners, most residents are new and it looks nice here because WE take care of our yards,NOT managment!!
Sep 03, 2021 · Jeanette EmanuelUnless you live here you won’t know how rude management is, and how they lie to new customers promising amenities that we don’t have. We have a gate that haven’t work in the last four and a have years and it’s always open but the manager will swear that it works and that is closed at night.Don’t let them full you. We have uneven road with holes similar to sink holes on the road, but again management thinks it’s ok to have roads like that. A lot of unhappy residents in the community.
Nov 13, 2022 · Nely santiagoHorrible place to live! management team lies and deceives And standards and contractual agreements are only held accountable to residents management has rules of their own and do not respect their residents feelings thoughts time or money.. don't move here it will be one of your biggest mistakes.
