Jun 11, 2025 · Jason ChandlerNice peaceful place with nice people. Nobody bothers anybody even tho it's full now. Has one washer and one dryer that is surprisingly not always full. Easy to get to. Goos location halfway between Bayou LaBatre and Theodore. Good wifi too.
Feb 24, 2018 · Cathy TakewellI only gave the place one star because I absolutely didn have a choice in order to leave a review 🤷🏼♀️ to each his own (meaning everyone is different), but I’m not quite sure the “decent” price or the LESS than “average” amenities are worth having to deal with the DEFINITE narcissist in “Bob, the owner/operator” of this RV park..!! He has to be THE most unpleasant, MISERABLE human a-live, and doesn’t seem to have the most common ability to respect other people..!! I don’t know which era he’s stuck in, but be sure you bring a MAN with you because he is sure to bully any woman that pulls up, but I have a feeling that he wouldn have the gall to speak to a man the way he does a woman..! Mocking me, interrupting me, and just downright rude as all get out..! I’d rather park my RV ANYWHERE else on the planet..I’d rather rent a room or even pitch a tent by the creek than to stay at “Stop and Rest” Campground.! I’d most likely react in an unsavory manner if he’d opened his mouth around me or my family one more time 💁🏼♀️
Nov 03, 2022 · Mary TubbsThis was exactly what we needed as we were traveling from the Smokies back to Baton Rouge. The weather got ugly after midnight so we pulled in to sleep a few hours and let the weather pass. The park is a bit run down. It was dark and raining and we had to try two spots before finding one with working power. The first one was showing fault on the surge detector and the other had a power box sitting on the ground. This park has potential with some minor upgrades. Overall, it was clean and kept and the rates are more than fair. I like the concept and think more parks like these are needed for travelers to be able to pop in at anytime to get some sleep.
May 26, 2022 · Jami PlaisanceVery nice place to stay for a short time or make it home. Service was good, park was clean. I enjoyed the peace and quiet. It was close to Bellingrath gardens a favorite place to visit and town was not far away. Location was nice. The manager was very accommodating and would always go back. Thank you for all you have done to make my stay enjoyable.
