Stephenville RV Park - formerly R&R RV Park by the Reservoir Reviews
Love how spread out all the camp sites are. So much room between campers that it gives you that privacy. Probably the cleanest looking rv park we've been to. The bathrooms/showers/laundromat are conveniently located at the front and are always clean. The facility itself is well up to date. Modern decor, beautiful wooden floors and furnishing, new machines, etc. Highly recommend!
Feb 05, 2025 · Ricki JonesWe have called this place home for over 4 months and absolutely love it! Unfortunately we have had to move on to an actual house, but would go back here if I ever needed to be back in my camper! The owners and staff are super friendly and always respond to text if something is wrong. They have a very nice office building with a set of washers and dryers available to use at no cost, there is also 2 large private showers and 2 separate restrooms available 24hrs. There is a really nice fishing pond also on the property for fishing during the down time. They also over free wifi, which always had a really good signal. As other reviewers have stated, yes there are some stickers in the grass around the spaces, but it's in the country and just comes with the territory. The owners have been working hard to get rid of the, but it really didnt bother us. This place is so peaceful and they do a great job of enforcing cleanliness in the spaces. We will definitely miss our quiet country living, but as I stated again we will definitely go back if we ever need to! You wont regret visiting this hidden gem whether it's a short visit or if you are looking for a new place to call home! They will welcome you in and treat you like part of the family!!
Apr 10, 2021 · Nicole FryThis is a new park, and not in a good way. The sticker burs (sand burs) are thick, the parking spots are unlevel and soft. I couldn't use my Anderson Levelling Blocks (see pics) because they sunk into the ground. Ants and other bugs were plentiful - although there's not much they could do about that. The owner/manager even forgot that I was arriving, and was in Shreveport when I called to let her know I was on my way. I was grateful that it was quiet and available, though. I'm hopeful that next time I come through Stephenville, they have these problems sorted out. With a little work, it could be a nice park.
Aug 26, 2020 · Stephen JohnsonHey y’all! If you’re looking for a cozy and beautiful place to stay for awhile you’re search stops here! I personally have never stayed at an RV park before so... I was kinda nervous and hesitant. But all my worry went out the door the second I met one of the owners Rachel. I was greeted by her three sweet doggos and I couldn’t be happier with how dog friendly it is here! R&R provides washers and dryers along with beautiful showers and bathrooms. Not to mention the breathtaking view of the fishing lake!As a college student I’m constantly on my laptop watching lectures and doing assignments. Luckily R&R provides WiFi which is a total bonus! I also saw in the comments that “bugs”, and “ stickers” were a major issue for someone.... but if you’re from TEXAS... well you know. Those suckers are hard to get rid of and kinda annoying, but super easy to pull up and throw away! Not that big of an issue Stephen. And I definitely wouldn’t judge a park for them ;) As for the owner and communication prior to moving in, she was quick to respond and was on top of everything. But we are all human and get caught up sometimes. She was incredibly sweet, and genuine. I could talk to her all day! Also for a newer park I’d say they’re doing pretty damn good!I hope y’all choose to stay here at R&R and enjoy it here as much as me and my boyfriend do!P.s. There are other things they offer here, but I won’t spoil it just come and find out!
Sep 30, 2020 · Brie FrancisWe stayed one night at this park, it was nice, and clean. We did not use the onsite laundry, showers, or bathrooms but the facility was very well kept. We will definitely stay again.
