For RV owners in Oklahoma, finding a suitable spot that balances convenience, essential amenities, and proximity to key destinations can make all the difference in a pleasant trip or an extended stay. Southbound RV Park, located in Stillwater, Oklahoma, presents itself as a practical option for those seeking a straightforward and accessible place to park their RV. While it may cater to a diverse range of visitors, including long-term residents and those in town for specific events, the park's primary focus is on providing necessary services for comfortable RV living.
Southbound RV Park aims to be a convenient base for exploring Stillwater and its surroundings, including Oklahoma State University. For many, an RV park serves as a home away from home, and having essential hookups and a place to settle in, even for a short period, is paramount. This park positions itself as a functional choice for individuals and families looking for a spot that offers the basics without the added complexities or higher costs of a resort-style facility. It's a place designed for practical living on the road, with an emphasis on accessibility to local points of interest.
Southbound RV Park is conveniently located at 606 E 32nd Ave, Stillwater, OK 74074, USA. This address places it approximately four miles south of Oklahoma State University's main campus, including popular athletic facilities like Boone Pickens Stadium, O'Brate Stadium, and Cowgirl Stadium. This close proximity makes it an excellent choice for OSU fans, alumni, or families visiting students, especially during gamedays or university events.
The park's location offers a good balance: it's far enough from the immediate urban core of Stillwater to avoid constant heavy traffic, yet close enough for quick drives to major shopping areas, restaurants on Main Street and Perkins Road, and other city amenities. The website states it is "Only 1 Mile South of Stillwater," indicating a very accessible approach. Access to the park typically involves navigating well-trafficked roads, but the park itself utilizes gravel throughout its internal roadways, which can be a consideration for some RVers. While one reviewer mentioned "Workmen and trucks working on the RV park were a little too much, no peace," this suggests ongoing improvements or maintenance, which can ultimately benefit the park's long-term quality. Overall, its direct link to Stillwater makes it a strategic stopping point for anyone spending time in the area.

Southbound RV Park Reviews
I stayed one night. When I was setting up, prepaid site, a young lady drove up wondering what I was doing there. Asked if I had a reservation...then found it and said she thought it was for the next day. Workmen and trucks working on the RV park were a little too much, no peace. Pull through sites are back to back. Gravel parking throughout. Noisy at night. Comparable price should be $25.
Mar 08, 2023 · Luann J KellyLooks like crackhead heaven. Burnt down rvs! No way! What a joke! Water so expensive you can afford nothing else. Trash is 55 bucks month. Once week if lucky, they pick up. To pricy. No payment. No shelter. No extras. No on site mrg. Dump behind the residence. Lots cats. Kids minimum. Established neighbors wonderful when quiet..... TO far out from any store, grocery etc. Highland park school district. Lots of older people so quiet
Aug 22, 2024 · Leslie GillpatrickI spent a few weeks here this fall and it was absolutely fantastic! The park is clean and quiet, it has full hookups, and the staff have been wonderful. No Laundry or WiFi but if you want left to your own peace and quiet this is the place. Only 1 mile south of Stillwater had no trouble getting deliveries, only a few minutes from Spin City, all in all a great time and a great place to stay. Thank You Sarah, see you guys next time.

Aug 20, 2023 · Bill P “Wild Bill Cowboy”Stayed here for almost two months in the fall. No complaints at all. Management was great to work with , very nice and seems to have a vision to keep improving the park. Park was overall quiet and would stay there again. Location to Stillwater is great as well.
