Skookumchuck Mobile Manor Introduce
For many Washington residents, manufactured home living offers an appealing blend of affordability, independence, and community. Located in the heart of Lewis County, Skookumchuck Mobile Manor in Centralia, WA, is a long-standing mobile home park that provides residents with a place to call home near the natural beauty and convenient services of the South Sound region. It caters specifically to the mobile home park lifestyle, offering lot rentals for homeowners seeking a quieter, more cost-effective living situation compared to traditional site-built homes.
This type of community is often chosen by individuals and families who appreciate a lower cost of entry into homeownership, combined with the manageable maintenance of a manufactured home. Skookumchuck Mobile Manor is situated to provide a balance of secluded living while remaining connected to the surrounding areas of Centralia and Bucoda. As with any community, the experience can evolve, but the foundation of accessible, affordable housing remains the park's key offering.
Location and Accessibility
Skookumchuck Mobile Manor is located on the eastern side of Centralia, Washington, in a location that leverages the area's natural surroundings. The community sits right off the Bucoda Highway SE, offering easy access to the town of Centralia and the Interstate 5 corridor, which links the major metropolitan areas of Seattle and Portland. This makes it an ideal spot for those who work locally in Centralia or Chehalis, or who need to commute north toward Olympia or south into Cowlitz County.
The name itself, "Skookumchuck," is derived from the nearby Skookumchuck River, a tributary of the Chehalis River. This proximity to the river suggests potential for access to local parks, fishing, and outdoor enjoyment, which are significant lifestyle benefits for residents of the Pacific Northwest.
The physical address is:
21541 Bucoda Hwy SE Spc 3, Centralia, WA 98531, USA
One notable accessibility feature of the park is that it offers wheelchair accessible parking lots, which demonstrates a commitment to ensuring ease of access for all residents and visitors, a crucial factor for many individuals and families choosing a long-term living arrangement.
While the park is situated a short distance outside the immediate downtown Centralia area, the proximity to Bucoda Highway means that local shopping centers, medical facilities, and Centralia's historic downtown district—known for its antique shops and community events—are all within a reasonable driving distance, blending rural tranquility with suburban convenience.

Skookumchuck Mobile Manor Reviews
Managment has let the tenants keep their home exterior shabby, dirty & cluttered. Could be a nice little mobile home and RV park if the owner and management would care enough to make everyone clean up their own homes and stay that way. Pressure wash the trailers! I wouldn't rent here for an RV spot based solely upon this. You would be embarrassed to have somebody come here and say this is where you rent. Higher standards required.
May 15 · Phil VI rented the red n white mobile home near the entrance back in 2003 from Mrs. Fox, she was so good to me especially when I was struggling she had a heart of gold. It's good to know the new owner's cleaning up the place. I plan to go back to see the place soon and do some fishing and visit the family.
June 14 · Recipe Logic Tricia SilosWell I was never there my parents live near there but it appears to be the same squalid hell hole it's always been sure the domestic violence and drug use statistics are the same if not higher
