Short Creek RV Resort Reviews
We had an amazing experience renting their boat this weekend! It is a very nice & well-kept boat. It is also a much cheaper rate than surrounding boat rentals! The owner kindly dropped it off & picked up at the location of our choice. Great hospitality!
Jun 15, 2025 · Rayel PierceThere are not enough stars to rate this RV park. Quite, nestled in the hills, beside the creek. Wonderful amenities, but the people are the best. Mike, Amanda and their family are down to earth and so friendly, kind and generous. Always making time to help out or just talk. The store and restaurant has all you need. I loved the hot wings and ice cream. There is plenty for families and kids, with the playground, putt putt golf, bikes, boat, canoe and kayak rentals, or just relax and enjoy the views. The landscaping is beautiful. Thank you for a great weekend. We'll be back.
May 24, 2025 · Tina PhilpottI don't have an RV, but the RV park area looks really good. I stopped by and had a burger and fry in there general store there. That looked really clean and on my way out. I even saw that they have kayak rentals. One of the guys that was in the store even told me they are mins from the river. So it might be off in the sticks but if you want peace and quiet. This really looks like the place. It actually makes me want to get an RV and start the RV life.
Jun 05, 2025 · william schreckHello,My daughter's (ages 1 yo and 2 1/2 yo) and I stayed in the Glamping Tent this past Saturday night into Sunday. We had to go up and visit Granny and Grampy. The price was very reasonable, cheaper than a hotel room with much better service and a family atmosphere. The driveway was a touch of a walk for me carrying enough essentials for two babies by myself. I didn't mind it though. For two people it would be fine. The appearance walking up to the tent was very nice and well kept. At night it is very well lit with dimmer lighting that is constantly on but not bothersome by any means. As well as motion activated lights by the stairs to help you see where you are going. The decoration on the inside gave it a more welcoming feeling. The bed was nice and firm with very comfortable sheets, blankets, and pillows. My older daughter loved the fact that we could hear our "outdoor friends" crickets, frogs, the creek etc. We had enough room in the tent for a fold up pack and play for the baby and ALL of our bags. The tent comes with a portable air conditioner which was nice in Tennessee in June. We had a few really good thunderstorms while we stayed and the tent stayed perfectly dry. We were also reassured by the owner that the bath house is reinforced cinderblock so it doubles as a storm shelter. That gave me piece of mind.We ate supper that evening at the general store on property. It's definitely a family affair which we loved. Everyone was so nice and the food was very good!I asked the owner about the pond and he said it is stocked. When I asked about fishing poles he said that they sold a few but no cane poles. Not wanting to spend the money on a fishing rod for maybe 10 minutes of my daughter "fishing" we said maybe next time. The owner then proceeded to let me borrow three of his personal rods AND gave us some tackle with bait! It is definitely not every day that you find such nice and giving people. We had a great time fishing and especially playing on the pirate ship playground! All in all I would definitely go back! If you need somewhere to stay while visiting family or just want to get away from the fast paced hustle and bustle of life look no further.
Jun 10, 2025 · Scott ThibeauUnfortunately, our group and I were on the verge of a ruined weekend and a long anticipated trip cancelled due to Bonnaroo being canceled due to weather. We had rented a 40 foot RV and with the cancellation had nowhere to go. We were able to find this gem of a campground and couldn’t have been more pleased. As a frequent camper at many campgrounds I can say with confidence that this little campground is one of (if not the NICEST) campground I have been to. The bathhouses are clean and new and the amenities are beautiful. The owner is involved enough with the campground to be very tentative but not invasive and is incredibly nice. The general store will have all of your necessities plus some of the things you may have forgotten! Can’t recommend this place enough!
