Sasquatch Farm Scenic RV Park & Campground Reviews
Sasquatch Farm RV Park is located in a scenic area. The sites well well maintained and functional. The staff were very attentive and eager to make sure our stay was exceptional. There are hiking trails that are easy to access and traverse. The drive up the mountain has a few tight curves so be mindful if you are in a big rig. We are 43' plus a tow vehicle and it was a white knuckle drive up and down the mountain. We opted to drive the tow vehicle back down after our stay. Next time we will disconnect for the drive up as well. Great stay, highly recommended.
May 28, 2025 · Cliff MattsonMy family and I recently bought undeveloped land in the area and thankfully Will and Julie’s Sasquatch Farm provided all the amenities we needed until our property was ready for us.The camp store has more than enough food and drink options as well as RV items, toys, and a variety of novelties. The grounds are well kept and the staff is great.Full service sites, including daily garbage pick up make the stay even better. Not having to worry about unhooking to dump or using a stinky transfer tank is a huge upside. The park is quiet and peaceful. Our young kids were able to play outside to their hearts content without concern.I read one lady’s 2 star review and laughed. If you’re afraid of the outdoors- maybe this isn’t the place for you. However, if you enjoy the outdoors, being surrounded by wildlife, and scenic Appalachian foothill views- you’ll enjoy the stay. It’s apparent the owners care about their investment and are continually adding various new features to upgrade the grounds.Having on site laundry was fantastic and being able to walk through the trails and hang out by the 2 ponds was awesome with our kids. They recently put a lot of work into the pond area and that became a frequent hangout spot. They also have live music at their stage by the campsites which is very unique, I haven’t seen that at any other campground I’ve stayed at.Overall this campground was a blessing for us in many ways and have recommended it to any family coming to visit the area.10/10 recommend.
May 10, 2025 · Carter RoseWe stayed in tiny cabin 28 and it was awesome. It was the perfect location. It had great views. The place was clean and everyone was so nice. We had such a great time. Thank you Sasquatch Farms for a great weekend.
Jun 22, 2025 · Jackie RoseVisited my brother for the day while he was staying there. Not sure I'd recommend it to anyone. It's a destination campground for sure, as it's 30 minutes from South Pittsburg.Very peaceful. Great star gazing opportunity. The lakes are really ponds, and I definitely wouldn't swim in them.Nice store, but prices are a little high. The main issue we had was that it was hard to walk around due to the large rocks they use as gravel. If large gravel is needed, maybe smaller rocks on top to make it walkable? My daughter nearly twisted her ankle a few times. No shade between sites, sites are unlevel, and the bathrooms are strange—no bathhouse but bathroom trailers, and they keep them locked, which is unfortunate when someone needs to potty while someone is showering in the trailer.
May 09, 2025 · Rita RiversThe Sasquatch Farm was a great place to stay! The people and staff are very friendly. They have some really cool features down at the pond and we loved the deer feeding stations! The restrooms were a unique idea but worked really well and were sufficient. If your looking for a tranquil place a little further out of town this is a great stay! .. the only thing I would say is if you have the time to go around and take the directions from monteagle I would definitely recommend that route. The other route through S. Pittsburgh has a very steep incline and sharp turns. We stayed for 4 nights in a 43ft fifthwheel.
