The pool and spa are great, when people follow the rules and not swim in there street cloths. The staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are clean and manicured. The neighbors are all great.

Terrible customer service🤦♀️Makes you not want to buy your next home here, if u have to deal with this kind of ignoranceSMH and to the Hispanic community*****edited!!!so we submitted a "LOT RENTAL" application because we wanted to make a CASH purchase on one of the homes for sale in this community! Our application started JUNE 12TH 2025, after submitting ALL documents requested, JUNE 16th we rcv a notification that documents were missing, we resubmit documents and only after requesting via "email" if we could have an actual verbal converstation so that I could explain the "missing" parts on the application (there has to be IT glitches to be fixed for the application, my IT can take a look at the errors if needed). Nelida resonded with "Are you able to submit the documents via email for my review?".....almost ignoring the fact that I needed to communicate via phone call. OK, I resent my documents and the other parties documents by June 18th. June 19th we rcv email that the documents were received and application was being sent for review. We rcv phone call on June 20th questioning my 10-99 as if for some reason they were falsified? Nelida had a tone of voice that could cut throats, her patience was clearly not there and kept asking "are your 10-99s really almost 1 million dollars?" YES, I am a contractor with the CITY OF PHOENIX and a GOVERNMENT contractor!! Rest assure that after this conversation, we didn't hear back from ANYONE there at San Estrella, However OUR family that lives there (notified us that the mobil park was doing some kind of inspection on the mobil home that we were trying to purchase, so as if they already have plans to take over this home or what??). So further into digging into CALAM companies, I found out that there are HUNDREDS of DISCRIMINATION law suits against this company for EXACTLY what we have endured with these employees at this facility!! So as of June 20th to July 1st, we hear NOTHING!!! So the owner of the mobil home is now getting concerned, she is going thru her own situation with this home and NO ! is saying anything. So I find this very weird, WHY did it take for me to request an update from the office, in order for them to respond that I didn't qualify!!!!! Mind you we make $7k/month and they want less than $1000/month. You would think that you want someone who can financially be more than capable to rent your spot !!!MIND YOU!!!! I was only trying to help my DISABLED friend CO-SIGN for a NICE and QUIET place to live!! This seems like the correct place before you encounter the office staff!! then you CHANGE YOUR MIND!! Rest assure if NO ONE returns my call from corportation, I WILL ALSO involve an attorney for this type of treatment and timeframes that seem a bit outrageous for a "background check" Normally when I run a background check thru City, State, Fedreal and tribal, I obtain a FULL report within 72hours!!!!!Someone is taking these customers questions and concerns and turning them into personal situations!! STAFF AT SAN ESTRELLA, you must be more professional, STOP eating and chomping at your desk, stop saying "UM YEAH" for everything, and lastly "STOP" discriminating against people that you dont know!!!!!BIG MISTAKE
