RV Texoma Location
RV Texoma Reviews
RV Texoma is one of the best RV parks I have seen in the north Texas area. The location is great! It is far enough from the highway that you hear no traffic noise at all, but close enough to Whitesboro that shopping is not an issue at all. Lake Texoma is also very close by if you like boating and fishing. The park has a nice combination of open and wooded areas. There is a tree row blocking the view from the road so that cars driving by don't have a clear view in. This creates a nice bit of privacy. The park is also gated which keeps the general public from just showing up and driving through. The general topography consists of gentle sloping hills that end in a nice pond in the back of the property. There are some trails winding through the trees as well. The utilities were installed with foresight as well in order to provide proper voltage and water pressure to each RV slot. It is a really good spot to stay!!
Apr 03, 2023 · Rusty TurpinBeing 1st Time RV-ers, this place was a God-Send! Michael, the park Owner, helped us get everything set up as we weren't quite sure how. I don't know of anyone else who would have went out of their way like that! The Peace, Serenity & Security of this place is Unrivaled. Quiet, Drama-Free Country living at its Finest! Still, only a short trip into town, which ever direction you head. Affordable & Comfortable! Awesome Landlords!!! ♥ 5 Stars all the Way! ♥-♥-♥-♥-♥ -Mr. & Mrs. Forbes
Sep 18, 2023 · JnJ ForbesIf you're looking for a small, quiet, restful, beautiful place to spend a few days or longer, RV Texoma is the place for you. The birds are plentiful, the quiet is wonderful, and the dark dark night skies are perfect for star gazing. There's a trail around the property that provides a nice little walk among the many varieties of trees and flowers, and ends at a little pond where a great blue heron likes to visit every night around 6 pm. The owners are as friendly as can be, and ready and willing to assist their clients in any way they can. We had a very nice, relaxing time at RV Texoma. You will, too.
May 12, 2021 · Sharon JoinesI’ve been here about 10 months and love it. I recommend the place to my co-workers, and I plan to be here for the foreseeable future. The location is great, owners are responsive and friendly, and the property is kept very well with plenty of amenities including a key code gate and security cameras which makes it feel safer. The small size makes it feel more like a neighborhood, and half the residents are long term (that I know of) which means you get to know them and can trust each other. The only problem is the laundry room? Not sure what’s going on with it, but it isn’t up and going that I know of. But nonetheless, the pros definitely outweigh the cons.
Apr 23, 2020 · Taylor NelsonMike and Suzette are wonderful hosts who really made us feel welcome when we spent the night there in our camper-van. Accessible to answer questions before and during our stay, they took time to share a meal with stories around the fire & even offered extra fresh eggs the next morning from the chickens in their coop. This couple has put so much of themselves into creating a secluded space where someone can find peace in nature. Bird feeders attract many a feathered friend and rabbits can be seen crossing the land freely. The property is gated, serene and well-kept; not one fire ant to be spotted either! We especially loved the lack of light pollution too ... so many stars at night! A spring-fed water source for fishing from the bank and cleared tree-flanked trails for walking really encourage the quiet, human -to- nature connection. No planes, trains, or powered motors within earshot, unlike many parks found off freeways or directly on larger bodies of water, but just a short drive to decent marinas, shops, etc. Can't wait to see how this brand new RV Park evolves as the years pass. As word gets out, I anticipate more campers that seek attentive, caring resident owners/managers and a wholesome atmosphere will be drawn to it, returning with their family and friends ...perhaps an extended community of like-minded folks will even form over time. We look forward to our next weekend getaway there as the temps drop again this fall and hope to bring our dogs!
