Ruis Mobile Home Park in Jacksonville, FL, stands out as a highly suitable option for a particular segment of the local Florida population, especially those prioritizing affordability, a strong sense of community, and a relaxed lifestyle over resort-style amenities. Its suitability for Floridians stems from several key aspects that resonate with common needs and preferences in the state.
Firstly, its core appeal lies in its commitment to providing affordable living. In a state where housing costs can vary significantly, a mobile home park that intentionally avoids "overpriced" amenities to keep costs down offers a crucial alternative for individuals and families looking for budget-friendly long-term housing solutions. This makes it an accessible option for many Floridians who might find traditional housing markets challenging.

The description of neighbors being "friendly and glad to see you when they walk or drive by" and "everyone watches out for each other, but doesn't get 'in your business'" speaks to a genuine, unforced community spirit that many locals seek. Ruis Mobile Home Park Reviews
I've lived here for 5 years. It's not overpriced to justify club houses and swimming pools that nobody really uses. It is an old style mobile home park with a large portion of the lots opened up for long-term RV'ers. Currently, they are working to replace the old laundry room with a new, dedicated laundry building so they can remove the old mobile home currently used for a laundry. Progress is slow here, as is the overall lifestyle vibe. Neighbors are friendly and glad to see you when they walk or drive by. Everyone watches out for each other, but doesn't get "in your business." I love living here.
Dec 23, 2023 · Royce SCalled to check availability of a mobile home… gentleman asked how many occupants, ages, and sex of all possible occupants. He seemed willing until I said the ages of adult children…went as far as asking “why are grown children living with their parents” This is where I was offended and hung up. Btw.. there are 18 year olds who haven’t graduated yet. I feel this may have crossed some lines in fair housing .. but choose to let everyone know my experience this way.
