For Florida locals, particularly those considering a 55+ community for retirement or active adult living, Rolling Greens Village presents a unique landscape of considerations. The most compelling reason this place is suitable for locals is the undeniable strength of its resident community. Despite challenges with management and perceived reductions in amenities, the consistent feedback highlights a "close and supportive community" where residents genuinely "cherish our neighbors." This intrinsic social fabric provides an invaluable sense of belonging and camaraderie, which is often a primary driver for choosing a 55+ community. For many, a strong and welcoming neighborly environment is more crucial than any specific amenity.
Furthermore, as a mobile home park, Rolling Greens Village typically offers a more affordable entry point into the Florida retirement lifestyle compared to traditional housing. Its Ocala location provides access to the city's charming atmosphere, natural beauty, and essential services. While recent resident feedback indicates significant dissatisfaction with management and a perceived decline in "resort-style living" amenities, prospective residents should consider this information carefully. However, for those who prioritize a genuinely friendly and supportive resident base above all else, and are willing to navigate the current management situation, Rolling Greens Village still holds the potential to be a place to call home in Florida. It is a community where the spirit of its residents truly defines the living experience.

Rolling Greens Village Reviews
Update - Things for gotten progressively worse. Nothing from Michael Hawkins, the CEO - at this point we all are questioning his competence. Coffee bar and resident activities have been discontinued. Manager, Terry, is blaming "corporate" for everything and avoids taking responsibility for any of the decisions - and she continues to berate residents who complain to her. The VP, Cindy, is non-existent. Unbelievable! The company's website is still selling a "resort style living" environment, but that does not exist any more with the staff cuts and cost reductions it has gotten worse. The park is fast becoming a pit. Sad to see that it has gotten so bad.___________I want to begin by saying that we have a close and supportive community. The people who live here are great. We have many wonderful friends and cherish our neighbors. The issues that have so many of us unhappy have to do with the incompetent management and corporate ownership – Cove Communities.A recent survey of the park residents was overwhelming negative. The Park Manager and Region VP have little education and no experience managing “resort style” experiences – they have managed trailer parks, not resorts. Residents are treated with disrespect and are constantly interrupted and yelled at. The dissatisfaction was so great that the company’s CEO flew in to meet with about 300 residents several months ago so that individuals could voice their dissatisfaction. The attendees were asked how many would recommend the community to their friends and family members – only 5 raised their hands (less than 2%). For nearly 3 hours the residents aired their grievances and were given the opportunity to speak … Three months later nothing has changed – in fact it has gotten worse. The CEO has done nothing to alleviate the situation. I think he just wants to wait it out and hope it goes away.I would not buy in the community. Home prices are falling and given the strong dissatisfaction of the residents, I don’t see it getting any better.I encourage other residents to write a review. Maybe after reading all the negative reviews, something will happen.
Jun 28, 2025 · Jason JonesAfter visiting a number of 55+ communities, I will definitely be moving here. We have a little bit of time before we get to move in, but I'm so glad I have already made a great contact. I will be keeping in touch so they will be ready when me and my husband are ready to move down. They are some of the friendliest people living in this community. Shout out to Sheri and Marki.💚
Apr 15, 2025 · Le NorredWonderful and patriotic people live there. It's a beautiful, quiet place. The other day my sister got stuck in a construction driveway ditch and security was extremely helpful and I was grateful for him cause I'm her brother. I'd live there myself but I currently live in a beautiful gated community here in West Ocala.
Mar 02, 2025 · Lou FerraroRolling Greens is a 55 + golf & mobile home community in Ocala Florida. It is owned by Cove Industries which is located in Arizona. When we moved in in June of 2024There was a dead tree in front of our mobile home which compromised our home or anyone passing by. For one year we relentlessly call the office and visited the office to report the tree that is needed to come down. In December 2024 the left hand side of the tree fell blocking the road & blocking the homes behind & on the side of us. We called the office and let that afternoon they sent a crew of maintenance people to cut all those branches and clear the road. The maintenance people said that they would come back to tear down the tree. They never came. June 6thThe top branches fell on our mobile home taking out part of our roof. When the office immediately, they refused any responsibility, they lied to corporate office and told them we never complained about the tree. A Mr Michael Geary risk manager in Arizona, and the missus Terry Passaro the manager here in Rolling Greens, Ocala sent an initial email to me stating it was an act of God and they weren't going to take responsibility because we did not report the tree. This past week I received another phone call from their VP of regional services on the East Coast, she offered $500. When we have damages by two estimates that are 5 and a half thousand dollars worth of damage. All of our neighbors will testify to the fact that we were extremely worried that the tree would come down since it was a dead tree however even after reporting it for 1 year Cove Industries denies any responsibility they called it an act of God. An act of God is flooding, a lightning strike, or an earthquake. If you're seeking a mobile home park to move into do not move into Rolling Greens, their business practices are completely irresponsible. So here we are with 5 1/2 thousand dollars worth of roof damage caused by a dead tree that we have been reported since we moved in June of 2024.They demonstrate lack of integrity lack of responsibility lack of cognizance since no one remembers how many times we reported the tree.Cove Industries functioning in the mobile home resort real estate market today.Do not buy here.
