The core of the Rocking M Ranch experience is the provision of essential utility services tailored to the needs of modern RV campers. While the overall amenity package is robust, the services focus on ensuring a comfortable, self-sufficient stay. The park proudly offers several types of hookups across its different sites:
- **RV Camping:** Dedicated sites are available, including both back-in and pull-thru options, many of which are thoughtfully tucked among the trees to maximize privacy.
- **RV Electric Hookup:** Electricity is provided at various sites to power appliances and climate control systems.
- **RV Water Hookup:** Direct running water connections are available at many sites, offering convenience and simplifying daily needs.
- **RV Sewer Hookup:** A select number of premium, long pull-thru sites, particularly those suitable for big rigs and nearest to the road, offer full sewer connections, which is a major convenience for extended stays.
- **Running Water:** General running water is accessible across the grounds.
- **Payments:** For guest convenience, the park accepts major payment methods, including Credit Cards and Debit Cards.
Guests should note the specific hookup configuration of their reserved site, as not all sites are full hookup. Some of the more secluded sites among the trees are specifically water and electric only, with the full hookup (water, electric, and sewer) primarily concentrated in the longer pull-thru sites.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1A beautiful, quiet campground with back in and pull thru sites tucked into the trees. The sites are spaced well from each other. They are water and electric only with the exception of the 6 long big rig pull thrus that are nearest the road. The folks working there are the best, going above and beyond to help when we had a medical issue to take care of. There’s a nice playground near the office and a hiking trail through the woods around the back of the property. There is no tent camping. The only thing I would add is a bathroom, right now there just a couple of Porto Potties.
June 22 · Tina HawleyWe are loving our weekend at Rocking M Ranch! There is a cute nature trail and an off leash area for dogs. It is close enough to Cripple Creek to enjoy the town but far enough away to be quiet. And there is a little playground and yard game area
July 05 · Lauren SealWe had an outstanding experience at this campground! The hosts were fantastic—when we arrived after office hours and struggled to back in to our site (no fault of the campsite, we are just inexperienced), Judi came to our rescue. She walked us through the process and helped us back in so we could easily reach the hookups. When we were leaving, her husband offered help with hooking back up and even followed us to the dump site to assist with dumping our tanks. The sites are spacious with plenty of room to park our vehicle and for the kids to run around without disturbing others. We had campsite 20 which was perfect but all the spots are great. The entire campground is very well-maintained. The port-a-potties were clean and emptied regularly, always stocked with TP, which was a lifesaver when our RV's brown water tank was full. They are located away from the sites but close the playground which was excellent for kids. The location is perfect, offering easy access to both Cripple Creek and Colorado Springs.Overall, this was a great camping experience. Highly recommend staying here if you can snag a spot!
June 29 · Lindsey StephensQuiet and beautiful location well set up. Even after showing up late still came out to greet and assist with finding our spot. Campground was very clean and well maintained. They gave us a map to the local amenities and a few places for good pictures.
July 22 · Tyler WomackWe stayed here the week of our wedding & the campground staff was so accommodating and friendly! The campsites are gorgeous, we had water and electric hook-up. The view is incredible and I look forward to staying here again in the future!
