★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We stayed in a full hook up site with our trailer. While there are lots of trailers fairly close together, it was not a problem and everyone we met was very friendly and nice.It was a good experience and we would come back here again. The bathrooms were indeed especially nice and brand new. I don’t think I’ve ever been in such a nice bathroom and that in a trailer/campground.The only thing we did not like was the very large amount of grass clippings all over everything so we had to sweep the sidewalk area and the grass area so we would not get grass clippings all over ourselves, our trailer, or our dog.
September 14 · Linda CapshawWe brought our RV and bikes. We had a great 4th of July holiday. We watched fireworks that were lit off on the nearby docks. This place has brand new bathrooms that are so awesome and spacious. We enjoyed walking the beach and the grounds of the park. The nearby food was walking distance and good. The staff at the resort were very helpful and welcoming. We are going to come back and try out the cabins.
July 06 · Linda HarringtonWe spent 2 nights in a 400 area site. We were very impressed with the bathrooms (beautifully remodeled and private!), clubhouse, sauna, view of the bay and proximity to town. The views from the top of the hill looking out to the bay are the best, but not necessarily right from campsites. We didn’t find a ton to do in town but did find the campground to be quiet and relaxing. The bathrooms, while very new, were not cleaned daily (at least not while we were there). Would def stay here again!
June 23 · Rachel CarmichaelI was pretty skeptical about this place due to some of the reviews but we needed somewhere to camp halfway through our trip. We have a travel trailer and the spot we booked was a premium back in near the water. The sites are very clean and level. The sites aren’t the biggest but that was no big deal because there’s a large field up above to wander around. We stayed in site 311 and really enjoyed the views. The woman who runs the front desk, who is also the camp host, was so warm and inviting. We’ve stayed at a lot of RV parks and some of the front desk staff has been so rude, but she was so helpful and so kind! There was a group of people next to us the first night that partied until 2 in the morning so that was annoying but after they left it was very quiet and peaceful. My only warning is be prepared for lots of wind. Other than that we truly enjoyed our stay. The bathrooms are beautiful and there’s lots of privacy, no open stalls for showers like you see in state parks. There’s a huge obstacle course for the kids that was pretty awesome and their clubhouse was great too. Laundry facilities were very clean and decently priced. There is also free WiFi for up to 3 devices and there’s also 5G service (we have Verizon) so we didn’t even need the WiFi for our phones. We had such a nice time and I would definitely recommend this place.
August 04 · Brenna KuehnerWe stayed a week at this RV park. I wish we could've stayed longer. The location is excellent, there are multiple restaurants, a coffee stand, and a fruit stand all within walking distance. There's beach access that provides pretty good views. Most of the view is the marina where all of the fishing/crabbing boats dock. So sometimes the smell isn't great. The park itself is incredibly clean. There are 2 bathhouses and the clubhouse has a sauna and multiple shower stalls. There's a laundromat with Speed Queen washers and dryers. They're quarters-only but I was able to get a roll of quarters from the office. The views of the hills around the park are beautiful, especially in the morning when the fog is rolling in over the hills. It's so peaceful and very quiet here. Everyone seems to be residents, full-time RVers, or hobby fishermen. It was perfect for us, my husband works remotely full time so we really need a somewhat quiet place. There is a train station next door so you'll hear the train horn periodically throughout the day. It's the Oregon Scenic Train, it's a steam engine so it's not a screaming freight train. It's actually kinda nice to hear it a few times a day. It doesn't run at night so you won't be woken up by it.There's a kind of obstacle course for kids (we didn't really check it out so I don't have details) as well as corn hole and horseshoes. Each space has a picnic table on a concrete pad and a wood-burning fire pit. The spots are decently spaced so you don't feel too crowded. They've also got a few cabins/cottages for rent.I highly recommend this park, we would definitely come back if we're ever in the area.
