Nov 26, 2024 · Jennifer PickardI don’t normally write reviews but I rented a nearby home on the water that over booked and didn’t let us know. We showed up at 7:30pm and had no where for my family to stay. I called all around. One other place answered out of the 7 I called on the river and they were booked. RIVERS EDGE was a little bit north of where I planned to stay but I gave them a call and Rudy answered right away. He let me know what rentals were available and without hesitation said come on over they would take care of us. We showed up 30 minutes later and Rudy was waiting for us at 8:45pm on a Friday at the office. I asked if it would be an issue if I changed to the larger cottage rental last second, no problem at all.You don’t find service like this now days and you definitely don’t find it at the rates that rivers edge is offering. Thank you again Rudy for being our life saver. Until today I didn’t not know this place existed, I think they might get pushed to the outside from a few bigger names in town but if you have a boat and need a clean, affordable and spacious place to sleep i don’t think you can beat rivers edge.
Jun 08, 2024 · chadler myersThis RV park has a nice location right on the St. John’s River and leads out to Lake George. The large buoys at the entrance as well as the old houseboat seem to invite you in. The campsites are spacious. I noticed a tent pitched in one of the campsites, so I guess they are permitted.
Feb 25, 2024 · L CardinalI was very surprised that the location is ideally situated for day trips out to Daytona or st. Augustine. And if you want to head into the central part of Florida again it's well situated. I was super impressed by the hard work that the owners do regularly and they're personal contact with the campers or maybe I should say those that are there because some are there almost every winter. The washroom areas and showers could be improved do they are certainly kept clean and functional. Manny in the camp have fairly large mobiles and use their own facilities. The laundry facilities are as good as I run into in my travels but really the Friendship of the other members in the camp and the extra effort that the owners make... make this a pleasant experience
