River Roost RV Park Reviews
For nearly $40 a night, you'd expect them to, at the very least, keep the place clean. I've showered in hundreds of truck stop bathrooms and none have come close to being this nasty. In the three nights we stayed there, nobody had cleaned or emptied the trash. There was also no toilet paper or soap the entire time. The woman we talked to on the phone was also very rude. I hate to put down a small business, but I genuinely feel like I was robbed. We definitely won't be coming back.
Jun 24, 2025 · Savannah CurrenThe location is pretty and convenient for rafting and visiting roxies bbq. We enjoyed meeting the camp dog goldie and there is a pretty fountain onsite to sit by.Our complaint is that the bathrooms are terrible. They did not get attention the entire time we stayed this weekend. We had to keep supplying toilet paper. The bathrooms are extremely dirty, the drain is full of hair, and the floor stays covered in mud. There are no trashcans inside and there is no handsoap.
Jun 22, 2025 · DemitriousSuch friendly and helpful owners!!! We had booked a place on line at another RV park and upon arrival there we were willing to lose all we had paid to not stay there! Looked on line and saw there was luckily an opening at River Roost. So we headed that way and within minutes were welcomed by the owners and assisted in parking in a great spot. We have a 38” fifth wheel with large slides on both sides. There was plenty of room for our RV and our truck! It was quiet and felt very safe! Full hook ups and 50 amp. Definitely will be back!
Aug 05, 2023 · Kim ShannonWhat a great little place to stay! The owners are so friendly and helpful. They even invited us to a BBQ where we met some of their friends who were awesome too. Back in sites because of a lovely rock wall. Just unhook your tow vehicle and do it. It’s well worth it, it’s like your private oasis. Also, this is Goldie. She is the camp dog that arrived awhile ago and decided she liked it just fine. Very friendly and polite. She is going to have a new role soon. Can’t wait to see the new restaurant that’s coming.
