Jan 02, 2025 · Deborah BarberaMe and my wife absolutely love this hidden gem. The people are amazing the staff are extremely knowledgeable of the area and keep the area looking top notch. With some of the best amenities I have seen. Restrooms that stay clean. Affordable washers and dryers. With a short walk thru the most jaw dropping sights of wildlife in the woods on the elevated boardwalk to the Guadalupe river. You can always find what you need at most conveniently located office from firewood to canoe rentals. Long term and short term spots available here
Jun 25, 2025 · Armando RoblesWe stayed at River Acres for one night on our way south. This was the only park around the area who had a website to reserve online. Sunday, we were tired and just wanted to be done for the day. This is a nice park, a tad difficult to find your way in, but eventually Debbie and Zane came to our rescue! Staff was REALLY great! Our only issue with the park is it truly seems like a full-time park, which is not what the website leads you to believe. They are definitely working on the park. It’s convenient to the highway and it’s a nice overnight stop. I did get to do some laundry which was “ok”. Would I stay again, probably NOT for $53.00. Fee for booking online and using your card.
Oct 21, 2024 · Paul Sally CrouserMy family and I just stayed at River Acres for 3 days and enjoyed every minute! The manager Annette and her Husband made us feel right at home and we're very helpful. The bathrooms and laundry room were clean and close by. The landscape and mature trees were beautiful. The River was AMAZING and a lot of fun for the whole family. We got to fish, swim, jump on the oversized float, paddle board and kayak . The kids spent time digging up shells and playing volleyball. We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful park. We made memories that will last a life time and look forward to visiting again soon! Thank you again River Acres RV Park!
