It's important to approach any potential living situation with a balanced perspective. While the positive aspects of the community, such as its clean environment and respectful neighbors, are clear draws, it's also valuable to understand the full scope of resident experiences. The management aspect, as detailed by some residents, can be a point of consideration, but the core community and physical environment remain appealing.
Richmar RV and Manufactured Home Community is conveniently situated at 10675 Seminole Blvd, Largo, FL 33778, USA. This strategic location places it along a primary artery in Largo, a bustling city in Pinellas County. Largo is nestled between the Gulf of Mexico and Tampa Bay, offering residents easy access to stunning beaches, natural preserves, and a wide array of urban amenities.
Seminole Boulevard is a well-traveled road that provides excellent accessibility to major thoroughfares in the region. Residents can easily connect to Ulmerton Road (State Road 688), which leads directly to St. Petersburg to the east and the beautiful Gulf beaches to the west. U.S. Highway 19, another significant north-south highway, is also readily accessible, facilitating travel to Clearwater, Tampa, and beyond. This connectivity is a major advantage for commuters, those who travel frequently, and individuals wanting to explore the diverse attractions of the Tampa Bay area.
Within a short drive from Richmar, residents have access to an abundance of essential services. This includes numerous grocery stores, a wide variety of dining options (from casual eateries to more upscale restaurants), shopping centers, medical facilities, pharmacies, and banking services. The proximity to Lake Seminole, just blocks away, offers opportunities for leisurely walks and enjoying Florida's natural beauty.
Largo itself boasts a rich array of parks, including Largo Central Park and the Florida Botanical Gardens, providing ample green spaces for recreation and relaxation. Richmar RV and Manufactured Home Community Reviews
Residents are nice, quiet, respect personal space and privacy. Everyone here seems to work hard and stay level. Clean, improvements being made, and the office lady is helpful and courteous.
Mar 15, 2021 · Jesselynn Davis (Jess)I've been a resident for roughly three years at Richmar. The location is great until you need management to actually do something. At first Tom was the manager and it was like pulling teeth to get anything done. Tom was let go, then we had a temporary travel manager who was caught doing unprofessional things in the office and now we have Chelsea who is if not just as bad, even worse. There's no point in complaining to her higher ups because they don't care, that's why they allow her to have her job. No employee cares here at all or ever has. To get anything done you have to twist arms. It's like what am i paying over $1k bi monthly for? And some things they won't even fix. For example, the property that was damaged by the lawncare they hired. I was told that if I said lawncare couldn't come on my lot then my reimbursement couldn't be guaranteed, and lo and behold I didn't do that and my reimbursement still wasn't guaranteed or given at all and i was told to do it myself or take them to small claims because management here is useless. I told Chelsea that they need to find a maintenance man who was not an idiot and her response to me was to: accuse me of being abusive to him (even though i said nothing to him at all and my complaint was to her) threaten me with an attorney (illegally of course because landlords can't do that), refused to communicate any further unless it was email (which hysterically enough was how i was contacting her and she text me), and told me that i was holding onto bad energy. While i laugh this off knowing only people who aren't secure in themselves have such extreme reactions to other people's words and are severely self projecting, I highly doubt the capability, the maturity, or the mental stability of a manager when that is their immediate reaction to a complaint and is a cause for serious concern. Managers need to be able to take said complaints and have tough skin. She acted like i not only cussed him out but her and her whole entire family. My complaint was not only well within my rights, but also warranted because he could not find my sewer pipe and ive had to argue with him before to get stuff fixed like my electrical outlet. I'm literally asking for and expecting the bare minimum and I'm treated like they're doing me a favor. So if you want to deal with management like that, be my guest. That's why my weeds are untaken care of, over a foot tall as i write this because the appropriate focus isn't on the right thing. If Richmar had their employment under control then this place would be a lot better because the lot and neighbors are great. It's always been that the incompetence exists at the helm from day one. That's the Lakeshore way.
Aug 31, 2024 · Koi WozThere is a lifted manhole (2) on the property and these will nearly total your vehicle. There is cracks in them EVERYWHERE from people hitting them so please be careful!!!!!!!!!
Jun 07, 2022 · Jessa JarrellDebbie & Denny are the BEST!!! Both are very dedicated to the park, on a monthly basis they are striving to make the park a better place to call home for all of the residents. Unfortunately there have been some residents that were not very appreciative of the improvements, and have outright lied on these reviews. It's very sad that someone would need to lie about wonderful management just to justify their own bad behavior. Kudos to Debbie & Denny for continuing to make this park a great place for everyone!
Mar 27, 2018 · Shannon PilatoUpdate to my review.I was told, by Debbie, that Richmar was sold and to contact the new property managers. So I did, spoke to several people from the new company, all promised to call me back and that it shouldn’t be a problem for me to get a space because they had availability. After repeated attempts to contact them and rent from them, nobody ever got back to me. Then, magically they were full and didn’t have any availability.Their management team and parent company has absolutely no interest in contacting anyone back. What a joke.—————————————————————I called and spoke to Debbie to get information about renting a space at the park. Debbie was extremely helpful and accommodating. I hope to call this place home soon. We’re moving back to the area from Seattle and are keeping fingers crossed that there is still room for us on the 1st of September!!
