An RV park is a dedicated facility designed to accommodate recreational vehicles of various types, including motorhomes, travel trailers, and fifth-wheels. These parks typically provide individual sites equipped with utility hookups, allowing RVers to access electricity, water, and sewer services. While some RV parks are expansive resorts with a multitude of amenities, others focus on providing the fundamental necessities for a comfortable and practical stay. The appeal of RV parks often lies in their flexibility, offering an alternative to traditional housing and fostering a sense of community among fellow travelers and residents. Pondside RV Site aims to cater to these essential needs, providing a base for RV living in Ray City.

Pondside RV Site provides the core services that RVers require for a functional and comfortable stay. Based on customer reviews and common offerings at RV parks, you can expect the following services:
- Full Hookups: This is a standard and crucial service, with sites providing connections for electricity (typically 30-amp and 50-amp options), water, and sewer, enabling residents to utilize all their RV's onboard facilities.
- Maintained Grounds: One review mentions the owner "keeps it clean and the grass mowed," indicating attention to the general upkeep and appearance of the park.
- Owner/Management Presence: There appears to be an active owner or management presence, which can be beneficial for addressing concerns and maintaining order.
It is important to note that one review specifically highlights concerns about water quality, stating, "The water is horrible (you gotta bleach your lines weekly) even with a 3 step water filtration system." Prospective residents should inquire about water quality and consider bringing their own robust filtration systems.
While customer reviews highlight significant concerns regarding owner interactions, rules, and water quality, it's also important to present the potential features and highlights that draw people to an RV park like Pondside RV Site. Every park has its strengths, and for Pondside, these might include:
- Rural, Quiet Setting: Situated in Ray City, the park offers a peaceful environment away from urban noise, appealing to those seeking tranquility.
- Clean and Maintained Grounds: As noted in a positive aspect of one review, the visible upkeep of the property, including mowed grass, can be a plus.
- Accessibility: Direct access from GA-122 makes the park convenient for RVers traveling through the area, minimizing difficult maneuvering.
- Affordability (Implied): While not explicitly stated in positive terms, many rural RV parks are chosen for their more reasonable rates compared to larger, more amenity-rich resorts.
- Owner-Managed: For some, an owner-managed park can mean more direct communication, though in this case, reviews suggest this can be a double-edged sword regarding consistency of rule enforcement and interpersonal interactions.
- Suitable for Long-Term Living: One review explicitly states it's "a good Campground, if you're looking to move your rv,or camper there to live there," indicating its suitability for extended stays.
It is crucial for any prospective tenant to conduct a thorough on-site visit, speak directly with the owner/management to clarify rules and policies (especially regarding pets and lease agreements as noted in reviews), and potentially speak with current residents to get a balanced perspective on daily life at the park, particularly concerning the issues raised in customer feedback.
For those interested in inquiring further about Pondside RV Site, including current site availability, rates, or to discuss any specific concerns, direct contact with the park management is recommended. Their contact information is as follows:

Pondside RV Site Reviews
The water is horrible (you gotta bleach your lines weekly) even with a 3 step water filtration system. If the owner is upset with another tenant he will take his frustrations out on you! Myself and my wife was told by the owner to stop throwing cigarette butts on the ground over by our campsite (we don’t smoke), but we was told to pick all of them up. Myself and 3 other R/Vs left at the same time because of the owner!
Oct 22, 2024 · David CookPondside RV Park GA is a good Campground, if you're looking to move your rv,or camper there to live there. The surroundings are nice, and the owner keeps it clean and the grass mowed. However, he doesn't have a rental agreement or a rental lease agreement, and makes up rules for his personal interests, not yours. Example. There many dogs living here that aren't on a leash, they're all very friendly, yet the owner singled out one tenants yorkie, and told him to put his dog on a leash. With this being said, I highly recommend that you look for some other Campground, to move to.
