Located in a "wooded, quiet" area, Poll Bayou RV Park offers a serene environment that contrasts with the demands of daily work or travel, providing a much-needed retreat for relaxation and rejuvenation. The park's self-description highlights its commitment to being a "friendly, clean, RV community."
Customer experiences with Poll Bayou RV Park present a mixed picture, which is important for prospective guests to consider. One highly positive review emphatically states, "If you are looking for a great place in a great location this is the place to be. You can leave your personal belongings outside and nobody will touch them and they will be in the same spot as you left them!" This reviewer praises the owner as "a great person, very helpful and very understanding," and highlights the park's suitability for families, noting the "open space and a lot of area for the kids to play, run and enjoy theirselves." This perspective emphasizes safety, family-friendliness, and a strong sense of trust within the community.
Conversely, another review details a deeply negative experience, citing issues with rude behavior from the owner, disputes over billing, and concerns about park conditions, including flooding and trash. This reviewer also highlights a significant problem concerning service dogs, stating they were denied entry due to their service dog's breed, despite federal law. These contrasting accounts underscore the critical importance of clear communication with park management regarding all policies, especially those pertaining to pets, pricing, and site maintenance, before committing to a stay. Guests should always verify all details to ensure the park meets their specific needs and expectations.

Apr 10, 2025 · Regina Percinothis guy is rude we stayed 4 day he charged us 500$ call me and yelled at me about my Service dog being extremely rude and hateful I wouldn’t suggest anyone going to this place. I just got back from there last week and it was the worst decision ever. I would rather pay more money and have friendly or service then to have some old cranky rude individual that thinks everybody owes him something and my dog was in my camper. He was mad because I told him his breaker in the place that we parked was bad that he needed to send somebody to fix it. It kept blowing all the fuses inside my camper and he got mad so that is the disrespect that we got for asking him can you come and look at it? Can you change the breaker something mind you this is my first time ever having my camper out did I ever think I was going to encounter someone as rude crude and socially unacceptable as him I did not, but I will not be going back and nor do I suggest anyone rent from this man or go and park your RV at his place not only does it flood when it rains, but there’s trash in the woods behind all the campsites There is a very very rude message on the laundry wall from him and one in the shower house I mean this guy is just a terrible individual And will rob you blind we got quoted $500 for a month we ended up paying $500 for four days then, when I called him to ask him about it, he got rude with me again avoid this man at all cost avoid this campgrounds at all cost.
Apr 13, 2025 · Bridgett SmithA shade tree heaven away from red lights and crackheads. Where I want my camper to be when working anywhere in that area! The owner is VERY adamant about no permanent locals and welcoming, with open arms and hearts, construction workers, tourists, pro bass fishermen, and all others looking for a nice, beautiful, quiet, low drama place to cool your buns after a long day’s work or leisure. Thanks to current day Jesus, Elon Musk, Star-Link internet is now up and active and have heard positive things about the WIFI as it has been a sketchy, single, AT&T DSL line feeding the entire place (and we all know how that turned out). A true home away from home. Kid & family friendly.
