Plaza Acres Court Reviews
This Park is kept up nicely but unfortunately the owner and the manager are not on the same page. Once again we ran into an issue with proration. The manager Sharon wasn’t sure if the owner would prorate but said she would ask. A few days later she told us he would. When we got our deposit back we also received the money back for the few days that we left early but had a $140 electricity charge, which everyone who has lived in an RV knows is insane for the month of April, especially since we didn’t even live in it but just had it parked there and everything was shut off. When I questioned the charge the trouble began…First no one answered the phone and we had to go to the Park to talk to Sharon. She initially apologized and said the owner misread the meter and she would talk to him. The owner finally called us and told us she was the one reading the meter and he never said he would prorate ever. So these two just blame each other for their mistakes and we as renters have no idea whom to believe. The owner seems very stressed and frustrated, he proceeded to accuse me of being intimidating and we should be happy, because he basically gave us more money back than we should have gotten. In the end we don’t know what is going on with the owner and the manager but this is just another Belton Trailer park you don’t want to park at!Edit: I previously stated it’s hard to tell who is telling the truth the owner or the manager and after his reply it is clear now the owner is the dishonest one. I did hang up on him since he became loud and stressed but I wished him a nice day and nothings else. Once again we were told they would prorate. We only stayed in our RV a few days since we found an apartment sooner than expected and if they would have told us that they don’t prorate we would have left the RV parked there the entire fully paid month. The reason for that is we haven’t sold the RV yet and need to store it anyway. So why would we pay for 2 places to store it? I will attach the bill that says we got refunded our Deposit of $500, $88 for 6 days of proration which is the correct amount, $26.05 was subtracted for Water and $140.07 for electricity. Electricity was the one I had an issue with. He now admits it was read wrong and it was only $75 (which still seems too high) I also asked Sharon to see the electricity bill but she said that’s not possible. Long story short. They are dishonest! Once again my husband and I traveled 4 years, full time in our RV and stayed at many RV parks but only had trouble with 2 and they were both in Belton, Mo
May 15, 2025 · Maria HaysIn regard to what my wife has said, and your comment that she cussed you, you have made it easy to determine who was telling us the truth. To Sharon, I apologize for doubting you, even though it was only in conversation with the owner, but we were only receiving hearsay evidence, which is always difficult to scrutinize when you get 2 different stories. Now for the owner, I sat here and listened as you blamed others for the situation and for the incorrect information, Maria’s main point with you was, you guys need to get your stories straight but she couldn’t get it out plainly because you wouldn’t stop talking and anytime she found a lag in your dissertation, you would yell that she was talking over you! She NEVER cussed you but she DID hang up on you! Man up, accept your responsibilities, and don’t hide behind falsehoods. At this point you are looking foolish!
May 15, 2025 · Chuck HaysI don't even live there yet, but I can review this place as A+. Sharon the Manager , parents ex land owners takes care of the facility. She went out of her way on a Sunday evening to show us upcoming lots and told us the truth, which most places dont. The place is in a great area. The location is awesome situated in calm neighborhoods. I look forward to experiencing living there. I only wish it had a pool. Lol. Maybe someday 😀 Thanks Sharon, I look forward to being your neighbor!
Jul 06, 2020 · Midwest TechThis is a quiet spot, situated in town, close to everything. Great spots with concrete patios, mature shade trees, reasonable rates. I have stayed here 5 or 6 months at a time, 2011 and 2016.I will stay here next time too.
