Plantation Place Dallas RV Park Reviews
We stayed 1 night on one of the parks sites. Unfortunately our arrival time was after checkin time so we didn't speak with any staff. We loved the guest pavilion overlooking the lake. It was a really hot evening when we arrived so enjoyed sitting there with a cold beer catching a breeze. Park was very full but what we saw in our quick stay was clean & tidy.
Jul 06, 2025 · Jodi AudossCompared to the other campgrounds in the area, this place had few niceties but was also less expensive. The pull-through slots were small and tight. Our particular grassy slot has the neighbor's sewer, water, and electricity lines running across the grass, creating a tripping hazard every time we step out. It has a laundry and a mail room, though we did not use either. On one side, there is a large field with a path and a dog park in one corner. This makes a nice area for walking the dogs. This also has a covered pavilion that includes some exercise equipment and seating area, but the whole front section is open to the elements. Too hot to use when we were there. All in all, this is a good, inexpensive place to stay while visiting Dallas not much going on at the campsite.
Jun 05, 2025 · Carla SusonThe park location is beautiful although we were wondering where Google was taking us as we passed residential homes. While the lots are gravel, not concrete, it was level and large. It was very quiet at night. The large pond was very peaceful. We didn't stay long enough to use the facilities but they were inviting. There's no pool so that might be an issue in the heat of summer but we were there to see attractions in the area including Wylie and Dallas. We were pleased to see a water filtration machine on site but it was not working while we were there. The laundry was clean and the prices good (pay through app).Oh, and the wifi was awesome! I wish more parks provided this service.
Apr 10, 2025 · andrew wylieThis is a great place to park a camper or RV. Everyone in the park is very nice keeps to themselves. Although it’s centrally located between Mesquite and garland, it’s quietly tucked behind a few subdivisions which gives it a peaceful feel. The spaces were oversized, perfect to park two vehicles with your Rv and plenty of space between hook-ups. The park is well-maintained, the maintenance men are out working everyday to improve the park and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I do wish they had concrete pads to park on, the gravel shifts a little with the weather over time. The laundry room came in handy, pay by app, they could use a few more washers/dryers considering how busy the park is. Overall our stay was great, I would definitely stay there again.
May 01, 2025 · Tawna BeathVery nice campground with loads of trails to walk thru fields, trees and next to a river. Quiet as well. The guy working there was hugely helpful. The only star taken was for the laundry...the app was broken and it's needed to do laundry. They did schedule maintenance for the machines just after we left so maybe it's all good now.
