RV parks, at their core, are purpose-built facilities designed to accommodate recreational vehicles for short or extended stays. What differentiates a "long-term" RV park like Piddlers Ridge is its focus on residents who plan to stay for weeks, months, or even longer, essentially treating their RV as their primary residence. These parks typically provide a robust infrastructure, including full utility hookups (electricity, water, sewer) at each site, allowing RVers to enjoy all the comforts of home. Beyond the practicalities, many long-term RV parks foster a strong sense of community, where residents can connect, share experiences, and enjoy a communal atmosphere often akin to a traditional neighborhood. The appeal of long-term RV living extends to various demographics: seasonal workers, retirees seeking a warm climate for extended periods, individuals saving for a traditional home, or simply those who embrace a minimalist lifestyle with the freedom to move when desired. It offers a unique blend of personal space, community interaction, and the inherent mobility that comes with owning an RV.

Nov 27, 2023 · Cheryl CunninghamIt's a nice quiet place to live! Mrs. Georgia is an amazing woman, the people here are very friendly!!
May 14, 2024 · Stephanie BennettLocal friendly service. Great prices for full hookups. Would have given a 5 star for a bath house and/or a pool, but 1/4 mile to a Georgia State Park with a swimming beach, hiking, fishing, kayaking, etc.
Mar 10, 2017 · Todd OttoWe evacuated from West Palm Beach, Fl. for hurricane Dorian and were originally headed to northern Mississippi. Well needless to say after a 9 hour drive with two cats and towing an rv we decided we had enough and were staying in Georgia instead. We called around and were not able to find an opening until we called Piddlers and they welcomed us with open arms. We got to the park to find out the it was a private owned park and only housed permanent residences but opened up due to the storm. They were so kind and helped us get all set up and settled in. I was super happy they had full hookup with electric, water and sewer. Not to mention it is so quite and peaceful there. I am forever grateful for them allowing us to stay and will definitely be keeping their number and head back come the next storm.
